Anybody else just recently discover this badass band? Damn. I was 4 years old when "around the fur" was released. Now, I can't lift weights without blasting that shit. Thank God I found them. Better late than never!

Thank you to the movie Queen of the Damned released in my late teenage years, especially one of my favorite vampire characters ever Queen Akasha! I still love Change (House of Flies) today. :) So through the years I have listened to Deftones other songs (and purchased the album with Gore (I greatly enjoy) on it when it was released), and recently I found a new favorite song Needles and Pins. 27jan23
This song is insanely good, and honestly brings me motivation! I’ll forever love Deftones, I’m so pissed I missed their concert due to school and babysitting :(
The one and only time they ever came to my town, I forgot to go. My roommates and I all had tickets. But when the day came, I was working late at school and just forgot all about the concert. When I met up with my roommates later that night, they said "WTF were you?" I said, "huh? What do you mean?" So stupid. That was obviously before the days when everyone had a cell phone.
I’ve just started really listening to them again for the first time in about 12-13 years and it’s crazy how I’ll click something I think I’ve never heard and it just comes back to me like I heard it yesterday, same happened to me with the SNW demos
