I hope you find what you are looking for my friend, respectfully Hunter, the kid from the Bentonville farmers market who you taught to carve a spoon, I appreciate that more than I can type.
Good to hear from you man. Thanks for the positive comment we really appreciate that. If you are ever over our way let us know we’d be happy to see you
“All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost, The old that is strong does not wither Deep roots are not reached by the frost.” Praying for your clarity as you weigh through future decisions as you continue to carve your path! Love and peace.
Good to hear from you all. It's always been fulfilling and rewarding to come along on your journey. Sure, there are many questions. But I know you'll connect the dots in time for us. You're always welcome in Ga. with helping friends and resources.
Very apropos that this trip was for a sail boat. It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes that I hope addresses your anxiety of leaving the homestead, “a ship is safest at harbor, but that’s not what ships are for.”
Y'all literally passed through my old stomping grounds! I recognized the large cut through the mountain on I68. Safe travels and best wishes for a great visit east!
Every time I have to drive through the countryside, I am so thankful to God that He lead us out of that rural rat race and to a simple life away from it. :)
I hope you have a good trip. Enjoy life now for the memories. When you get up in your years you can remember the good times. If you ever come down to East Tennessee give me a holler. Take care....
Have a great trip. I got the sense that you were going to (1) visit family, (2) clear a minefield, or (3) both. I, too, have navigated those waters. Be well
Extra points for the Tolkien reference :) Judging by that first rest area and the next shot of St. Louis you were only a stone throw from my farm recently too.
Well folks well wishes on this venture, an unknown tomorrow is an unbroke colt, we never know where it takes us! Each one has brought me to to the place I am now.....that’s life, and a good life it is......
Really good to see and hear from you both, as always a great refreshing and thought provoking video. We are not looking for answers or wanting to pry into your back story which I sense has many ups and downs. However you talk of "joining up the dots.." only do this if it helps you guys move forward in a positive way. I Look forward to seeing and hearing more from you very soon. In the meantime take care and enjoy wherever life takes you.
think positive and press forward like you have done for the lastfour years and longer. dont let fear dampen your spirit spirits. you guys are going to be just fine
It is dangerous going in and outside the door - but thank God I don't have to live in fear and we left the rural rat race and found what works for us. I leave those who hypocritically and wrongfully judge us up to God.
Road Trip, oh boy!!!!! Your wife is fun to watch while your explaining your journey, sounds like you drove through Hurricane Henri..... Now about this journey, seem so I recall your homestead is in N.W. AR, but you went up towards St Mo. near the the Gate Way arch,
From NW Arkansas (or OK) headed anywhere on the Atlantic coast North of DC, going through STL is definitely the fastest route; 44, 55, 70, 68. Made that trip many times. Makes even more sense since he said he was stopping in Ohio to visit.
We would absolutely love to come by and visit for a bit. Next time we are in Maine we will let you know. Thanks for all of your comments and your interaction we really appreciate it

I lived in Norfolk for five years. It was a strange five years.
There's a reason the horizon is always the same distance away... It's to keep you wanting to find what's on the other side... ♥♥♥
Life has many twists and turns. The best you can do is adapt. and enjoy the adventure.

Have a great trip. I got the sense that you were going to (1) visit family, (2) clear a minefield, or (3) both.

The Eastern Shore is a beautiful, sleepy place to get away for a while.
@@dustyoldhat No. What happened? Did the storm cause a lot of damage?

So what all goes into a lettuce bomb? Sounds good.
It is basically a tuna sandwich with no bread. Not that we are gluten-free or anything we just happen to have ran out of bread
