However, I think the people that feel the "changes" are extreme could blame it on the fact that Kalel likes to at times delete her entire channel, then take some time off, and then come back with new ideas and aesthetic. Sure, you’ve evolved as a person and gone through different phases, but don’t we all? I always have the hardest time explaining to people (even introverts) how I don't see the need to stress myself out and get anxiety or give up a day of relaxing on my own to see people, socialize and meet friends when I don't feel like I need it. DOn't get me wrong, I definitely get myself out the house when I'm craving interaction and feeling lonely and it's insanely good for me when I do it when I actually NEED TO. I've lost a lot of friends because of that and I thankfully have one or two now who truly understand and that works for all of us.
I wonder if people are getting confused about the difference between adopting a new persona and just being obsessed with things. It's literally fun to be obsessed with or really into things and we all have our rotating obsessions, Kalel seems like a very thorough and detailed oriented person, It would make sense that she integrates her "obsessions" into her life the way that she does. Which might seem like taking on a new personality to some but as she said, throughout everything she has had the same vibe and personality.
Also obsessing with different things and ‘switching’ often your interests is a sign of ADHD (I am not saying she has it), but just worth mentioning as a lot of people think that not keeping up with the same hobby is bad. I pick on different interests and that’s how my brain work.

I know you struggle with OCD and I just want to say, as someone who also suffers from this illness, your videos bring me such an intense amount of comfort. I would love to see more content centered around OCD, you have such a calming demeanor and it would be nice to hear someone like you talk about their experiences with it. Often times I feel like nobody understands, so I turn to your videos when I’m feeling lost. I relate to what you said about dedicating hours and hours into things that never happen SO much. i feel you 100% on the maintaining friendships thing. i’m extremely introverted but i also felt no need to cling onto friendships where it felt like i was putting a majority of the work into it, just for nothing to really come of it. i stay only hanging out with my bf bc ive had so many bad experiences with people who were suppose to be my best friends, and i’m just tired of it. also so many people around me are just so concerned with drama and i’m tired of all that!! i was a build my life up, and everyone around me is focused on drama and staying in a comfortable place. i miss having a best friend, someone who knows me to my core and is always there for me, but it’s not worth it if it causes me so much pain. so many people don’t understand this viewpoint but i just LOVE being alone!! i willingly choose to be alone most of the time, and i wish ppl would respect that decision!!

I know you struggle with OCD and I just want to say, as someone who also suffers from this illness, your videos bring me such an intense amount of comfort. I would love to see more content centered around OCD, you have such a calming demeanor and it would be nice to hear someone like you talk about their experiences with it. Often times I feel like nobody understands, so I turn to your videos when I’m feeling lost. I relate to what you said about dedicating hours and hours into things that never happen SO much. Sometimes it’s a relief just knowing someone is having similar experiences.
omg kalel i can relate to you so much about the introvert part! I feel best when being alone, and i get energy from being alone. Meeting people once in a while is nice, but i need time for myself to feel good. Saying that you feel similar makes me feel less weird xD
Im the same! But i do like friendships but im picky about them, im best with friendships one on one which isn’t the case for most people who like groups. I always need time to myself to recharge and do the things i love doing and relax me lol its not weird at all 💓

That part about you addressing the assumption you change personalities - so incredibly mature. You didn't invalidate that person's assumption, you didn't stress over defending yourself or get mad. You just accepted their point of view, were honest about it hurting your feelings and expressed your own thoughts.
This approach is something everybody online should adopt.

Kalel you should consider doing an asmr video painting and organizing all your nail stuff or something. I found that part of the video super relaxing
I do see that you only changed your style (like clothing, makeup, hair style, apartment aesthetic) throughout the 7 years I've watched you, and just as you said, your personality is still the same. Which is great because you know who you are and you're a genuinely nice person.

i feel you 100% on the maintaining friendships thing. i’m extremely introverted but i also felt no need to cling onto friendships where it felt like i was putting a majority of the work into it, just for nothing to really come of it. i stay only hanging out with my bf bc ive had so many bad experiences with people who were suppose to be my best friends, and i’m just tired of it. also so many people around me are just so concerned with drama and i’m tired of all that!! i was a build my life up, and everyone around me is focused on drama and staying in a comfortable place. i miss having a best friend, someone who knows me to my core and is always there for me, but it’s not worth it if it causes me so much pain. so many people don’t understand this viewpoint but i just LOVE being alone!! i willingly choose to be alone most of the time, and i wish ppl would respect that decision!!

The asexuality thing is so interesting - I feel like a lot of women have thought about this. Personally I’m undecided. Can’t decide if I also have higher standards than what men can currently offer me right now (because I usually feel uncomfy or in pain), or if I’m just asexual and fundamentally uninterested in sex (hetero sex at least). Anyway, thank you for being your authentic self Kalel - love you, and glad that you are learning to love yourself too 💜💜💜 strength comes from within!
I have also thought about it a lot over the years, but I came to the conclusion that I'm actually demisexual. So I don't normally feel sexually attracted to a guy unless I've gotten to know him over some time. Some connection and personality is needed, and also just having higher standards means that anyone won't do 😂

I’ve been here for 13 years watching your channel and over all id say you have been the same person.. but like have grown and changed like a person does. I don’t think your personality changes when you change interests, you just completely immerse yourself in your new venture. Also, I think you should quit apologizing for never being satisfied. There’s nothing wrong with that.. I’m the same way. I find an interest and then I completely immerse myself into it until I literally can’t stand it anymore and then I move on lol I’ve heard in primal times we would have been hunters and we would have been damn good at it! We would have been praised for our obsessive ability to focus on something and immerse ourselves in it.
