Steven McRae is fabulous in this piece! I love how he combines his tap-dance skills with classic ballet steps. And look at his pirouette at 1:58, that's freakin amazing!
Nobody is talking about the violinist so I'm going to. Les Lutins incorporates really difficult pieces and he nailed all of them. Charlie Siem is excellent!
@@bumble707 Wow, you're right! The piece is a comedy about competitiveness, but you can see the competitiveness is very real in their performance. Polunin has the advantage of height. Love them both.
Do you also think Steven McRae has a very remarkable presence on stage ? Dare I say almost like my all time favorite MB. Excellent dancing all round. And a big applause for violinist and pianist!
I'm a huge a fan of Zakharova but I don't like her in this piece. Cojucaru really blends the choreography Zakharova is more interested in show how high she can lift her leg
tu error es pensar que zakharova esta interesada en eso... a zakharova las piernas se le levantan solas, no necesita esfuerzo para tener las piernas por el techo... yo la ame en este rol... igual obviamente la prefiero en el clasico...
Agree!!, I don't actually think Zakharova wants to show us how high her legs can go, however, I do agree, it stopped the choreography, cause her legs are so long, and they go so high, it takes longer to go fully up, so it didn't go with the music's accent, it slowed her. I love her extensions but I think maybe for this choreography, they didn't help much.
I don't know that Cojucaru has anything to do with this. This is Trio, Zakharova danced with two partners as same rhythm together, do the two guys have long legs and whatnot extensions? This was her gala, people came to see her perform, enjoy the show please.

McCrea has so much creative language in his dancing, not just the usual ballet gestures. He really lives the part.

Johan Kobborg is very talented as a choreographer. I didn't get bored. The Bolshoi should collaborate with him more.
Thank you to all five. A sight for sore eyes and a treat for the ears. And bravo to those bravely taking to the stage with McCrae!
steven has such an insanely musical body!
This is truly amazing ❤ it makes me laugh as if they were talking! Great dancers, great musicians and great choreographer! Thank you
Wow! That was more than fabulous!!!
I would hate to be a male dancer sharing the stage with Steven McCrae! He's fabulous in everything he does.
Unless you’re Sergie Polunin❣️
@@bumble707 I'll have to look him up!

@@philipkuttner7945 The catch worked better with Sergei, true. Especially after having seen both of them in Mayerling!

Восхитительно и обворожительно магия музыки и танца ...

Вот рыжая бестия!!! Супер-супер!!!
Светочка просто восхитительная куколка.
Fabulous!
Magical, especially the charismatic McRea.
I agree with Gustavo. Cojucaru is beter in this piece
Какие красивые руки, техника браво
Шедевральная Света
Потрясный, конечно, бесспорно.
only McRae is any good in this piece. Dmitry Zagrebin - meh. sergei's imprint is indelible.

Love all of them, especially Steven McRae. I know she's thin, but she looked almost anorexic in this piece.Far too thin for my taste.
this is just a distilled example of bisexuality
