Xenia (waldorf xt)is coming next, its just amazing that we have classics such as the waldorf synths and access virus from 90s (and beyond) for the future we can expect nord lead 2x and novation nova/supernova. Adam szabo is also working on the jp8000 .what a great time.
@@SergioFrias Absolutely stunning, really, amazing times indeed. This is the future I can get behind not the other bad stuff happening at the moment lol I wanted a Microwave 2 for a long time although I still would like a crusty hardware unit at some point lol The Micro Q I had since like 2002, when ever I go to sell it I end up keeping it. Nord Lead and Nova emulations would be immense, c'mon Nord Modular I miss my old one. Wonder how they will work? The Nova had quite a few DSP's as did things like the Nord Modular. The big Q also had 3 from memory. Two for voice and one for the FX, Micro Q used only one DSP for everything albeit the single DSP was more powerful than a single DSP the Q used. We also have Hermann Seib's PPG emulation running the same code as a PPG which is incredible and sounds SO good.
In the patch browser, where the list should be, click on "Data Sources" and browse to wherever you're keeping the mid files that contain the patches. That should mean they appear.
Hi. Thanks for the info. I got Vavra installed a few months ago and was never able to open it more than a minute. Anything I do in the interface crashes Vavra. I also installed Virus interfaces and those are ok but this one ...hmmm never had any luck with it.

Unfortunately there is no "Patch Browser" where you can load or choose .mid files/soundsets. In my VST3 gui it is called "Patch Manager" and doesn't have this option.
same and the patch browser is empty like they didnt load correct but then the vst picks up the presets if you toggle through them... you can right click on "data sources" in patch manager and then click "add file" and manually add the .mid files Vavra 1.3.9 said the update removes patch browser and switches to patch manager
@@Jbonethekid Thanks for this tip. After clicking on the "Data Sources" thing in the patch browser, I navigated to the mid files and now I have some presets to play at last!
@@SergioFrias Alright, was just strange they didn't go for the Q which is a bit more fleshed out synth when they are doing it anyway since it's digital stuff. Not sure how much is missing from the Q in the micro Q and voices can always be added by adding another instance of the vsti. So not a big issue in todays DAW environment. Amazing work they are doing regardless bringing these synths to us that's for sure. Thank you for responding.
tried this but noticed 2 problems - OSC2 is leaking into filter section even if in MIXER page it's volume is set to 0 - Even when filters are on "bypass" sound continues to flow through them Three is basically no way how to send all oscilaltors just to FILTER1 .. or even just OSCILATOR 1 throught FILTER 1 .. osv2 is always leaking and filter2 is always applied .. how is this possible ?? How can be there such major bug when it is original firmware from walforf site ?? It's weird
Thank you Piet, the latest news was that the mw2 is on research , the team is working at the moment in the virus ti, every synth that uses the motorola 56300 is a big possibility in the near future.
Hello, I tried everything to follow the installation both in VST2 and VST3, when opening Vavra in Live Ableton, it loads its OS 2.23 ok but not its bank which is in the same folder in mid file. I would like to know who is having the same problem, because there is no option to select the file in question from Vavra, this story is driving you crazy!
Thank you for your video.. I think I am misunderstanding a step though.. Cubase doesn't pic this up as a VST, it recognizes it as FX.. Does anyone by chance know why that may be happening? Thank you. I have the files in the VST3 folder and followed the steps here.
@@SergioFrias That was it! Thank you. Lol I had to take a break, learn some other technical things and come back to it. Thank you for the help. Have you been able to assign MIDI CC?
Thanks a lot, they didn't mention that the sound files are required as well. Now it's working.
