- The Johto pokemon games are my favorite! But did you know that Johto had issues? ENDLESS internet MEWLING about bad level curves and worthless new pokemon ends today...today, we begin a NEW LEGACY, one where Ariados has +10 special attack AND defense, CATAPULTING it into viability!
We stand at the APEX of Johto, facing down one of the whimpiest Elite 4 rosters in the series. At least, that's the stinky reputation of the vanilla Gen 2 Elite 4. Can this PERFECT romhack's roster overpower our squad that BOASTS powerhouses like Meganium, Ariados, and Qwilfish?! I doubt it!!

Tyranitar is going crazy on the post league content! Good thing Adios was there to dig around its weak pupitar stage with no decent ground stab!

The entire "better use of resources" babble is total cope.
The squish-squash needs fewer resources than the custom animations, sure. But since the result is way inferior, it's not a better use of resources.
Not having animations at all would use even fewer resources!
All this because people can't accept that gen3 was the beginning of the downward slide for Pokemon.
What would you say is the one biggest sign of the decline from Gen 3?
