India needs teachers like him - humble, knowledgeable, down-to-earth and teaches in a very easy way so that concepts are cleared and students understand. What ailing our education system is quality of contents is poor, poor teachers. After seeing Sir Verma's lecture anybody can be attracted towards physics, can develop interest in physics.
Just respect for teachers won't do much. You need to revamp the whole education system and you need to make changes in the reservation quota system. You can't expect to become a "Vishwaguru" by not looking at grassroot level problems.

According to me explanation of first must be- •Fingers acting as fulcrum •palm (end part of hand__✋) apply force on one end of stick "Downward" •and Bag on other end also Downward When bag is closest to finger means on fulcrum , you only have to apply 20N force by your Fingers in upward direction only (as you are carrying a vegetable bag), no role of palm comes till now. The point is the person have to apply more Force than 20N because as horizontal distance of bag increases (force by bag remain 20N) from finger the Torque on bag end will increase so as on to the other side (palm side) but palm distance from the finger is not increasing so you have to apply more than 20N Force downward to be in rotational equilibrium. Now the intresting part the Fingers have to equalise both downward forces form bag+palm ,, hence the muscles which are supporting fingers strain more. Note:- muscles which are supporting plam is differnt form finger supporting muscles. Hence net force required to keep the bag at rest by our hand Increases.. No violation of Newtons law. ☮️ I chek the comments to check what other indian students explains about Sir's questions and what I get- "Ye iit vaale hai ya nagar palika vaale...ye arts vaale lagte hai (according to any sensible person -Arts vaale bhi desh chalate hai)... Though I am 4th year Engineering Student still I Love his way of teaching. We use to see science as a subject before Engineering but now because of teachers like him. I am now well Educated about life, Nature and science. As I have been taught by my close teacher that science is the only way to explore nature , our presence and hopefully, at the end we would know our presence in our world. The love and passion of science can be seen in these teachers, and that what motivate me to love science.

12:05 probably Newton's law is applicable on the same point where the force is applied by the earth so if the boy holds the bag exactly at same point where mg is being experienced he can balance it but here as the distance is increased so a torque is produced that prevents the boy from balancing the bag with same 20 newton of force he should apply more force than that to stop the pipe from rotating.
I think most of the students in this class have read books like Pradeep's physics, Gomber-Gogia and may even have scored well in CBSE boards because CBSE boards ask mostly the theory questions. When i entered class 11, 95% of students followed Pradeep's and all teachers recommended this same book. So i also bought Pradeep's and started reading it with enthusiasm. Soon, i found that explanation of concepts in that book were hollow, they didn't made concrete sense while explaining any concept. It would just provide vague definitions in 3-4 different ways and sometimes in contradiction with each other. Mostly the explanations weren't specific, any sense could be made out of it. Then after waisting 4-5 crucial months, energy and enthusiasm with Pradeep's, i found HC Verma and all the flaws that i felt in the earlier book were not there in this gem of a book. It is just too deep and you can't understand it all in one go. The numericals were very challenging and interesting. You need a lot of time with such a book to reap fruits. I lagged behind in 11th and 12th. I wish i would have started 11 with HC Verma and would have been in better position in my carrier. At the same time, other students following Pradeep's were conceptually crippled, they just memorized definitions and proofs by heart and vomitted them in boards exam and many scored well. But very few did well in competitive exams. If I am put in some authority to approve books for 11th 12th physics, i would filter out and ban books like Pradeep's and only allow a few books like HC Verma to be distributed in India so that there is only quality education sources for science young students.

@@shubhkapoor4057 When I entered class 11th, another challenge that i faced was, right in the beginning chapters of physics, a lot of mathematical concepts of class 11th and 12th NCERT (like derivatives and integrals) were being used to understand and express physics concepts. You would normally be properly and thoroughly introduced to these concepts in various chapters of class 11th and class 12th Mathematics NCERT book, but by the time that happens, there will be a lot of places in physics, where you may feel incapable of solving or anticipating solutions. This may make you doubt your capability, when in reality, it is just that you aren't properly introduced to mathmatical concepts which are the backbone to understand physics. So I would suggest that before you enter class 11, if you could manage, you just read and understand once the below chapters of class 11th and 12th Maths NCERT book and solve some 40 to 50% unsolved problems to check and groom your understanding of these concepts. The chapters are:- 1) Set theory. 2) Relations and Functions. 3) Trigonometric Functions. 4) Limits and derivatives. 5) Integrals. Remember that you don't have to be able to solve every last question or master these concepts just now. It's just that you shouldn't be clueless when you see trigonometry, derivatives and integrals being used in 11th physics right in the beginning. It will be very useful to have only some basic understanding of these concepts. You don't have to touch 11th Physics or Chemistry now, just knowing some 11th Maths would be very beneficial. You will get to learn them at length in 11th and that's the time to master these concepts. And ofcourse you should ensure that your 10th CBSE board preparation doesn't suffer and study 11th Maths making some extra time for it.

The answer to the first experiment is TORQUE. As perpendicular distance r increases due to parallel equal forces a torque gets generated with axis of rotation at the centre of the rod. To balance the system the angle sin should be zero in the formula Torque = rFsin ...for that we have to hold the rod vertically upwards or downwards It’s just my calculations. Am a BA Economics student but studied physics as a part time cuz I always loved the subject. Thank You 😊
What a great teacher. We loved his concepts of physics books when we were in 12th. I think for translational eq., the force upward would still be 20N. It seems harder to balance the rod as the bag moves further, because now, you have to apply a counter moment to prevent the rod from rotation. This combination of upward force plus the moment makes it seem harder to balance, the further the bag shifts from the person.
In the case of rod, to remain it in rest (Both translational and rotational equilibrium). which want to be accelerate down & also to rotate (if we hinge rod at any point). So to keep it in equilibrium (Both translational & rotational) we have to balance torque (t=r×f) also. To stop it from rotating we have to apply same amount of torque both side of hinge point (fulcrum) so that net torque would be zero. Because larger length is towards bag (suppose 1meater) and we have small length to grip(let it 10cm = .1m) where we have to make two points fulcrum and point to apply force by hand. So it should be t¹=t² f¹r¹=f²r² 20×1=f²×0.1 F²=200N _______________________👇f² ⬇️ f¹ ☝️ ↩️ t² ↪️t¹. fulcrum More larger r1 more force we have to apply. Lesser r² more force we have to apply to keet system in rotational equilibrium. And at the point of fulcrum we have to apply 20N to keep in translational equilibrium.

What ailing our education system is quality of contents is poor, poor teachers. After seeing Sir Verma's lecture anybody can be attracted towards physics, can develop interest in physics.
Who will not like to study when such a wonderful teacher is teaching.

Just respect for teachers won't do much. You need to revamp the whole education system and you need to make changes in the reservation quota system. You can't expect to become a "Vishwaguru" by not looking at grassroot level problems.

According to me explanation of first must be-
•Fingers acting as fulcrum
•palm (end part of hand__✋) apply force on one end of stick "Downward"
•and Bag on other end also Downward
When bag is closest to finger means on fulcrum , you only have to apply 20N force by your Fingers in upward direction only (as you are carrying a vegetable bag), no role of palm comes till now.
The point is the person have to apply more Force than 20N because as horizontal distance of bag increases (force by bag remain 20N) from finger the Torque on bag end will increase so as on to the other side (palm side) but palm distance from the finger is not increasing so you have to apply more than 20N Force downward to be in rotational equilibrium.
Now the intresting part the Fingers have to equalise both downward forces form bag+palm ,, hence the muscles which are supporting fingers strain more.
Note:- muscles which are supporting plam is differnt form finger supporting muscles.
Hence net force required to keep the bag at rest by our hand Increases..
No violation of Newtons law.

Educators talk a lot about STEM but do a little in the classroom, see this great humble teacher-every teacher of our country must learn from him-how to teach. We speak a lot in training but unfortunately practice nothing in the classroom. So start doing some selfless work for future of our country. If all teachers will contribute, it will bring great change in students. All- what we say -problem solving, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, innovative ideas, logical reasoning will develop.

12:05 probably Newton's law is applicable on the same point where the force is applied by the earth so if the boy holds the bag exactly at same point where mg is being experienced he can balance it but here as the distance is increased so a torque is produced that prevents the boy from balancing the bag with same 20 newton of force he should apply more force than that to stop the pipe from rotating.

I am Std 12 Student With Commerce...But still Watching This Amazing Guy...Because he was my std 10th Hero and I also like Physics😀❤️
I don't know it is his aura or something else but this is the most ENGAGING class I have ever come across !!!! KUDOS!!!!
I think most of the students in this class have read books like Pradeep's physics, Gomber-Gogia and may even have scored well in CBSE boards because CBSE boards ask mostly the theory questions.
When i entered class 11, 95% of students followed Pradeep's and all teachers recommended this same book.
So i also bought Pradeep's and started reading it with enthusiasm.
Soon, i found that explanation of concepts in that book were hollow, they didn't made concrete sense while explaining any concept. It would just provide vague definitions in 3-4 different ways and sometimes in contradiction with each other. Mostly the explanations weren't specific, any sense could be made out of it.
Then after waisting 4-5 crucial months, energy and enthusiasm with Pradeep's, i found HC Verma and all the flaws that i felt in the earlier book were not there in this gem of a book. It is just too deep and you can't understand it all in one go. The numericals were very challenging and interesting. You need a lot of time with such a book to reap fruits. I lagged behind in 11th and 12th. I wish i would have started 11 with HC Verma and would have been in better position in my carrier.
At the same time, other students following Pradeep's were conceptually crippled, they just memorized definitions and proofs by heart and vomitted them in boards exam and many scored well. But very few did well in competitive exams.
If I am put in some authority to approve books for 11th 12th physics, i would filter out and ban books like Pradeep's and only allow a few books like HC Verma to be distributed in India so that there is only quality education sources for science young students.

@@shubhkapoor4057 When I entered class 11th, another challenge that i faced was, right in the beginning chapters of physics, a lot of mathematical concepts of class 11th and 12th NCERT (like derivatives and integrals) were being used to understand and express physics concepts.
You would normally be properly and thoroughly introduced to these concepts in various chapters of class 11th and class 12th Mathematics NCERT book, but by the time that happens, there will be a lot of places in physics, where you may feel incapable of solving or anticipating solutions. This may make you doubt your capability, when in reality, it is just that you aren't properly introduced to mathmatical concepts which are the backbone to understand physics.
So I would suggest that before you enter class 11, if you could manage, you just read and understand once the below chapters of class 11th and 12th Maths NCERT book and solve some 40 to 50% unsolved problems to check and groom your understanding of these concepts. The chapters are:-
1) Set theory.
2) Relations and Functions.
3) Trigonometric Functions.
4) Limits and derivatives.
5) Integrals.
Remember that you don't have to be able to solve every last question or master these concepts just now. It's just that you shouldn't be clueless when you see trigonometry, derivatives and integrals being used in 11th physics right in the beginning. It will be very useful to have only some basic understanding of these concepts.
You don't have to touch 11th Physics or Chemistry now, just knowing some 11th Maths would be very beneficial.
You will get to learn them at length in 11th and that's the time to master these concepts.
And ofcourse you should ensure that your 10th CBSE board preparation doesn't suffer and study 11th Maths making some extra time for it.

This class LECTURE demonstrates the rote class off JEE ASPIRANTS and the practical class of Sh. HC VERMA SIR. SALUTE TO HIM .
The answer to the first experiment is TORQUE. As perpendicular distance r increases due to parallel equal forces a torque gets generated with axis of rotation at the centre of the rod. To balance the system the angle sin should be zero in the formula Torque = rFsin ...for that we have to hold the rod vertically upwards or downwards

What a great teacher. We loved his concepts of physics books when we were in 12th.
I think for translational eq., the force upward would still be 20N. It seems harder to balance the rod as the bag moves further, because now, you have to apply a counter moment to prevent the rod from rotation. This combination of upward force plus the moment makes it seem harder to balance, the further the bag shifts from the person.
force is what causes the "counter moment" so them adding up does not make sense.

In the case of rod,
to remain it in rest (Both translational and rotational equilibrium). which want to be accelerate down & also to rotate (if we hinge rod at any point).
So to keep it in equilibrium (Both translational & rotational) we have to balance torque (t=r×f) also.
To stop it from rotating we have to apply same amount of torque both side of hinge point (fulcrum) so that net torque would be zero.
Because larger length is towards bag (suppose 1meater) and we have small length to grip(let it 10cm = .1m) where we have to make two points fulcrum and point to apply force by hand.
So it should be t¹=t²
f¹r¹=f²r²
20×1=f²×0.1
F²=200N

More larger r1 more force we have to apply.
Lesser r² more force we have to apply to keet system in rotational equilibrium.
