So i decided to go into the 5th layer of the dark sea and see for myself on how hard it actually is to survive.

technically insanity 5 is in the 6th layer of the Dark Sea and its also referred to as the Void Zone as this portion of the Dark Sea is most likely not cannon as the Epicenter is located between the 5th and 6th layers of the Dark Sea and we all know the Epicenter is the center of the Dark Sea, in cannon if we continue to go strait past the Epicenter the mind breaking effects of the Dark Sea will lessen plus the Dark Sea compass will point to the opposite direction revealing a new Sea Cluster.
To clear things up the 1st layer is always no insanity where the 2nd layer will have insanity and gets worse from there all the way to the 6th layer which is the most dangerous and infinitely long to a point.

The level 250 ones are doable, we already have 250 criminals and some are easily beatable

some however are 4k hp tanks that do 350 damage a hit with large AOE where they just take forever to kill
