I visited Raro over 20 years ago, with my then-partner who was a born n raised Kuki. He knew all the good spots, and took me to Palace Burger. I've been dreaming of their food ever since, and was so happy when they did a pop-up at last year's (2023) Te Maeva Nui Cook Island dance festival in Auckland! So many people lined up for a taste of home! I had a wet cheese and it was just as amazing as I remembered. Metaki ma'aata!!!

Hi there. Thanks for watching. Couple of issues with your comment that I would like to clear up. One the wrap wasn't 70% lettuce at all. Second lettuce is very expensive in Rarotonga (I think it gets flown in) so even if the wrap was 70% lettuce it sure wouldn't be 60 cents worth. We saw small lettuces at the supermarket for $12-$15 NZD. Thanks again for watching. Thomas

70% of those wraps is 60 cents worth of lettuce. Same thing as most places in the south pacific, including Australia. Not good value for $$
