A convicted murderer and a safe cracker pull off a daring train escape while handcuffed together. They later show up at a ranch where they help a young woman being swindled by a large cattle company.

Rex Bell is one of my favorite 1930$ western stars. He has a good life history too that adds tp him. Married movie star that owned ranch near Elko Nevada. Became Nevada Lt. Gpv. Has a school named after him in Las Vegas. These simple movies are charming due to their simplicity including lack of noise.
@Peter: Good post-- Rex Bell and Clara Bow had a ranch they bought together, near Searchlight, Nevada. It was named the 'Walking Box Ranch'... That ranch is in Southern Nevada., not near Elko. Bing Crosby did have a large Nevada ranch that was near Elko..
@@bobcuster8930 Thanks for the clarification, I think Clara Bow was known as the ¨It Girl¨ in some publicity campaign. She was a bigger star than Rex Bell.

I'll check out what you said last night at SOME point tonight by going to the last film to your main comm ORRRRR maaaybeee tomorrow, if I fall asleep eating, like last night - lol - THAT REALLY HAPPENED!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Woke to a beautiful skinny carrot wasted on my plate (I was "saving" it for the last bite!) & about a Tbsp of quinoa/rice ANNND 3 inches of root beer wasted in my goblet. Grrr.
Gonna re-heat leftover veggie stir-fry in a little while - 1st i have a secret mission to accomplish - hahaha. Couldn't find the roasted chicken in the freezer & got tired of searching, so grabbed a handful-sized packet of frozen dark turkey - leftover from Thanksgiving - around noon to thaw in the fridge ... . 🤔😬 Never had turkey stir-fry B4 (that should be "interesting" ... whadaya think? Yay?-Nay?) ... only had banana 🍌 bread today, woke up late ... getting kinda hungry, so should get my mission done - if I don't space it out, I'll tell you later (pretty tired - had a restless night - kept waking up a lot & then going out like a light - a LOT ... exhausting). ~ 💖

There was Rex Bell & Buzz Barton in Saddle Aces (1935) before all of these. It never ceases to amaze me just how directly or indirectly influential the B-Westerns of this era were, or at least were the first to the punch on many stories and ideas. Many people cite The 39 Steps as the first of its handcuffed adventure kind, but Saddle Aces came out 4 days before it! Very interesting. They would've made a perfect double feature.

To the guy who runs this channel, Rex Bell died on July 4, 1962, not 1964. Plus, Rex separated from Clara Bow around August of 1950, as his marriage with Clara had gotten so bad that he had no choice but to leave, as her emotional abuse towards Rex was corrosive at best.
