- It’s a new vlog series and we’re setting sail on the Disney Dream!
It’s a very busy first day onboard as we head straight to Animator’s Palate for lunch before exploring the Oceaneer Kids Club at the open house. We share a room tour of our Verandah state room, 8036, before it’s time for the muster drill and the sail away party. Our first rotational dinner is also at Animator’s Palate where there’s talks with Crush before the evening entertainment begins. Believe is our show for the first night followed by a pyjama party at the kids club and adults only evening quiz trivia, plus a cheeky little character meet and greet!

The check-in and boarding process was great considering how many people there were.
It’s kinda surreal knowing we were on board too! That Stitch game looks so much fun!

I do like a bit of souvenir glassware, those glasses look fab.
Bringing back so many lovely memories, like getting back to the room and that painting being there. Just such a lovely touch.

Thanks for watching! Yes, they really do make the process easy and as stress-free as possible, which is always appreciated. Oscar loved the Stitch laser game, so much fun. We looked up the brand for the soft furnishings and it is pricey!! Maybe that why we all sleep so well 🤣 so glad you enjoyed the vlog!

Can’t wait for the rest of the series! When you went to Animators Palette and sat at table 63 I shouted omg it was our table! We sat at table 63 in all the restaurants we loved that table as it was right by the screen! xx

Great first day, the ship looks soooo busy compared to our cruise. Pete is right the Magic had sliding wardrobe doors and Lights inside them which I really missed.
Thanks for watching! It was very busy onboard, the ship was at full capacity for our sailing. Yes, we thought it was sliding doors - think it was the same on the Wish aswell, which makes things easier when you have a narrow space ☺️

The millennium falcon in the kids club is one of the adventures at the Star Tours ride at Disneyland. That’s cool that kids can have that experience on board. Aw yes the Holiday Inn Express breakfast, to be fair it looks way better than what we get in the US. Here they are known for cinnamon rolls and that is what most people go for. What a fun first day!

Is the rocking of the ship bad? I really want to do a Disney cruise but get travel sick! Love watching your vlogs, just finished your last Florida one so excited for these 😊
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoy following along! This is our 3rd cruise and we’ve never noticed rocking before except on day 1 (next week) and I had to pop a sea sickness tablet, but aside from that, all good and I suffer terribly with travel sickness too! ☺️

I don’t think a pram is needed personally, not for how old Albie will be next year - we didn’t think it was that much walking and so much to keep occupied and entertained. They’ll contact you via the messaging service if they want or need collecting so it’s relatively worry free! ☺️

How did you find this cruise compared to your wish cruise? Did it seem more chaotic? I seen a few comments that the cruises out of the usa dont have the same huge lines for the shop and characters and less pushing and chaos. What was your experience? We have only done the covid cruise so obviously the ship wasnt at capacity x
Thanks for watching! If we’re honest, chalk and cheese! I imagine a lot of that will be down to UK summer holidays, limited sailings and a reduced number of nights than some of the Florida cruises but it was very busy compared to our previous experience on The Wish. We didn’t really wait for characters or experiences but on this sailing, some of the waits were over an hour long. None of the merch sold out or was limited (or had queues building an hour before the shops opened). It didn’t hamper our experience but it was very different! ☺️
Can I ask why a lot of people are doing these types of travel logs. The info is great so I understand that but do you get money for doing them based on subscribers and likes?
Thanks for watching! If others are like us, we vlog to record our holidays and experiences to look back on. Yes, there is money to be made from RUclips but not very much for a small channel like ours - it’s based on views, adverts and things and we keep ours to a minimum so it doesn’t interfere with the experience!
@@AnniStores can I then ask, not my business off course but how do you afford to go to Disney/universal so often?

@@AnniStores wow, I need to get a job where you work cost in the last 12 months you have been to Disney world 4 times! It would take 2 years to afford to go just once.
Surely the channel must bring some money inn, the sponsorship stuff must help, costumes and loungeflys ect?
