We found ourselves traveling from Phoenix Arizona to Joshua Tree National Park to watch the sunrise in the Cholla Cactus Garden. It was easily one of the most beautiful sunrises we have ever seen! After exploring the park a bit, we made our way to the Salton Sea for the night, but not before visiting the bizarre town of Bombay Beach

This van started out as just an old white cargo van. It had some rust and needed some help mechanically before we could start our camper conversion. After taking lots of inspiration from other builds here on RUclips, be decided to build a unique, one of a kind DIY van build. We knew we needed a van conversion with a shower, and made that our number one priority for our van build. Secondly, we needed lots of space for our two pups. We utilized the front of the van by designing a collapsable table/ mobile office, leaving plenty of room for the dogs to lay down and sleep comfortably. The end result was a custom sprinter design that we haven't seen implemented in any other diy van build. We are confident you've never seen a sprinter camper conversion van like this one! We weren't too sure how we felt about Joshua Tree once we first arrived. The surrounding blm land which you can camp for free on is pretty crappy. But we are so happy we made the effort to catch a sunrise in the cholla cactus garden in the park. It was unreal!! Let us know if you liked the video by leaving us a comment down below! How does your golden retriever handle the heat? I’ve just started my van build and my dream dog is a Bernese mountain dog which I want to get soon but I don’t know how it would be travelling through hot climates
We try not to be in hot weather too long if we can help it. We ran the a/c the two nights we were there
I HAVE A HUSKY AND SAME i know exacly what your talking about . i live here in indio coachella near the salton see we have yet to visit . my husky can only do sunset and sunrises . after summer and when it start too cool down we go .
Thanks guys! I was a bit concerned about the hot climates...might just think about getting a short haired dog whilst being on the road
