Love my hs510 , I use to have problems when I just got it not realising I wasn't doing a geo calibration. After doing the geo calibration it's spotles. No more problems. Did a review on amazon and got a third batter from holystone. So now I have over 45 minutes flight time. It worth every penny.
Did you have any problems with WiFi and the app not connecting
What app do u use for your drone n how many flights since u buy
I got my HS510 in late February. Have not flown it a lot yet (about a dozen times), but every time I have it has performed very well for me. I have yet to attempt to fly it using only the app, so I am looking forward to seeing how that works out for you.

Love the drone-initially had shaky video until I basically flew only up down or forward to reduce jitter. The 4K is great but frame rate is not so 2.7k videos are better. Photos are amazing tho. IF ONLY IT CAME WITH A GIMBAL!

Because of what you get for the price the photos are good but you can’t have the world’s highest expectations for a cheap drone
Would you recommend this for a beginner compared to the DJI tello this one looks like it has a lot more features it looks a lot better and it actually has a lot more better range and camera and all that and I'm wondering would you recommend this I was in a horrific car accident back in December 31st 2019 and I'm permanently disabled and I thought this would be awesome to you know give me something to do and help me and all through my pain and you know my depression please let me know thank you
Just had it up and had a very difficult time controlling it. It seemed to calibrate OK on the compass but was very squirrel y and latent on the sticks. With fingers off the stick it crabbed to the right. If given a command to go forward it would not stop going forward until I pulled back on the stick. When I pulled down on the stick it would not land but hovered slightly off the pavement and tried to go under my car. There must be something I am missing. I tried to calibrate the gyros but don't know if that happened or not. I have been flying the Mini 2 and it hovers very well. This didn't want to stay put and a couple of times menaced me while I was trying to land it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I am missing something please lend me a hand.

Well there isn’t much you can do remember this drone is under $200 so if you want some thing with stable video you have to spend more money but you can try things like downloading a video stabilization app or flying on days that are not windy you could probably find a dji spark on eBay for a really good price and that has very stable video

How high and far will it fly ?
I heard that the video is way more stable in 2k mode, due to more frames per second. Is that true?
Well it can only be so stable but if u set it to 2k 25fps that’s probably your best bet, honestly I would just fly it on a calm day if you’re trying to get even a decent video
Would you trust it over water just want to know or what cheaper drones do you recommend to fly over water
Good question I have flown this over water and it’s not the best I would recommend something more expensive like the DJI mini 2

If I may ask, how can you tell if the drone is in GPS mode? On my controller, the GPS is in the on position -
There is a switch on the side of the controller to go in and out of GPS mode and it will warn u if u don’t have 7 or so satellites before takeoff

Welll it fell out of the sky randomly for me 2x unfortunately. No more hs510😔
When I first bought this drone it flew a bit weird sometimes but it was because of a sloppy calibration if there was nothing wrong with your model I’m sure that was the problem

I see people saying they paid 160 (other places). It's now 208 and not sure if it's still worth it?
