Sounds like a fun and interesting trip. I didn't realize the Titanic had been built there. You mentioned the sewing and embroidery fabrics and fibers; I would've enjoyed that very much. My Mother was a knitter who designed and made many sweaters, capes, shawls, slippers, mittens, and even a beautiful dress for me. She also sewed and crocheted. Alas, I did not inherit her talent with yarn, but am a sewer and embroiderer.
@@calicoradio_knitsthank you; yes, if course I'm a bit biased, but Mother's work was exquisite. Once, while we were shopping together, I commented on a sweater I liked. Mama got some paper and a pen out of her purse, assessed the sweater, and created an identical pattern, helped me choose yarn and knitted one much prettier (in my opinion) it's still a cherished piece, 30+ years on.❤
I don't knit but I really enjoyed this video! I used to knit as a teen but just fell out of it. I say I knitted but actually just made long scarf like pieces, never anything like an actual piece.
It's nice to see your excitement and joy for the fiber festival. It was good to see little Mac also.❤❤❤
Thank you so much, Gwen☺️ I appreciate you taking the time to check out this video❤️
Sounds like a fun day! How interesting that the Titanic was built there!
Ooh! Added to my bucket list.
What a great experience! And your jumper looks incredible! 🙂Good to see Mac making sure everything is OK with the neighborhood. He's such a cutie
🤗🥰
Thanks so much! Mac definitely takes his role seriously 😄

Ah that is so cool you each found your own passion within textile crafts!🙂 I bet your mom’s pieces were beautiful 😌

Oh my goodness, that’s amazing and so wonderful that you can keep it as a memory and heirloom😌
Glad you enjoyed yourself, spoilt for choice with all the beautiful items. Have been to Belfast a few times many years ago. Happy knitting.
Thank you, Christine😌 That’s great; it’s a lovely city - we’d like to go up as a family with Mac eventually. Hope you have a great day 🙂
Looking forward to seeing your new pieces! 😊
Thank you, Cheryl!!☺️🫶

Thank you, Nancy! That definitely counts as knitting in my book! It’s more about the experience knitting than what you end up making I think☺️
