    Joy wouldn’t feel so good if it wasn’t for pain- 50 cent, a happy life is not possible, there are happy moments, but you will also be tested in the world with resistance, harsh negativity, tough moments, people will die, you will get older and things won’t work as good as they used to, joy/pain and suffering is like the daytime and the nighttime, sometimes there is joy, cherish it while it’s there, and sometimes there is intense brutal pain, realize it will pass

    Sustained happiness is impossible in life, there is no such thing as a ‘happy life’, that’s like saying you’ll win every hand in poker, in fact multiple obstacles arise based on the random cards you are dealt in this world, how will you play your hand?

    • @casualeye1633
      @casualeye1633 3 года назад +3

      I agree, to an extent. From a Buddhist perspective you are right. Happiness as we know it is not sustainable. However, I must say that, here, context is important. When the Stoic philosophers talked about "happiness" it did not mean what it means today. Happiness to Seneca and the like meant living in accordance with nature. That meant living by reason and, basically, cultivating the Tao, one might say, to accept equally the Yin and Yang and not allow the inevitable to disturb our frame of mind. It really is rather like Western Buddhism or Taoism.

    Well he shoots down the BLM liberals, and leftism/liberalism in general within the first two minutes. Of course the liberals out there, will foam at the mouth at what I said. That’s an indictment in and of itself. Prove me wrong, with facts, AEB, the words found in these writings, specifically Aristotle. (Seneca sounds a lot like Aristotle, to a point). There’s nothing you can say that I can’t negate complete via his writings. Again, this is why postmodern academia won’t teach the classics. Remember where these writings come from...The West. Take pride in the superiority of your culture and race, and I’ll say with that, the whole EurAsian continent....All great civilizations, and philosophies come from there....Not Africa, at least any part of Africa not touching the Mediterranean. When will you take pride in yourself, and stop the slow black rot that is corroding your civilizations. Which is more evil, a culture and race being taught to hate itself, or that culture and race fighting back. B L do not M, in terms of creating a great civilization, or great thought ( the former can’t arise without the latter). There’s a reason all great cultures come from Eurasia, India, everywhere, except Africa. And, geography is a poor excuse; it’s biology, not environment. If BLM, then they would adapt to that environment and overcome any of its hardships. But they haven’t, because they lack the brains to do so. That’s just fact. History and all existing culture proves it. If it where nailed to your skull, nailed between the eyes, it would’t make the facts clearer, but it would take that to get even a single neuron to fire in the brains of white liberals, and that wouldn’t be enough for them to see the self evident.
