      Thanks for this session Jonas & PML Crew. I still remember the last pre-pandemic party that you did in London, when I managed to ask you a few questions after the set. In any case, you were asking for suggestions on topics so I'll throw one: A course on melodic content, how to fit it all together. As you mentioned at min 33 i think, newer producers tend to over do it, and add too much, such that the 200hz to 1k becomes clotted. So ways to go around that, how to write/combine your mid bass/melody/chords and keep it interesting as it evolves. A video or full course with Jonas's insight would be amazing. ( looking at you PML :D ). Greetings from Bcn

    • @jonassaalbach

      @@spacewavez Hi Sebastian! I remember the party in London very well! :) Thanks for the input! I will keep that in mind for my next session with PML! Yes, the trick is to limit yourself with tracks in a session. To focus on the main idea and work on the sound design. But I know that's not always easy.

      Dear Jonas, please answer my question.
      In your setup, do you record your Peak, Prophet, and other hardware synthesizers at one of interface universal audio by Unison In or Line In? Do you practice in your work unison preamps? If yes, how often?

    Really great tutorial! What I like about it the most is the arrangement part and the little infos you drop left and right that help an amateur to transition to a semi nicely. What I wish for the next tutorials is that when explaining stuff in Live, the size of the Live window should be more present. Maybe increase the size of the window a bit, so we can keep up with all the goodies you have for us when it comes to automation. Keep up the good work!

    This guy has a pretty solid approach. Although I'm skeptical of the need to tune percussion to key of the song, I think he has a realistic approach to sculpting the space and sound to get mixes on point

    • @jonassaalbach
      @jonassaalbach 2 года назад +2

      Hey, there is no need to tune the percussion to the track´s key. I just tune them as it sounds good to me. It´s not a rule, just a feeling. But talking about kicks I kind of think it really sounds better if the kick is in key
