DSP's biggest problem (well, one of them anyway...) is that the moment he gets in, he never capitalizes. Whenever he has a chance to punish them, he just can't do it (he'll do like 3 or 4 hits at the most and that's it. I've played enough KOF to know that every opportunity you get to destroy your opponent, MAXIMIZE IT, because you might never get another opportunity.

People use projectile zoning patterns to effectively "brick wall" scrubs, weakening or even killing them before the actual match begins. In this case, DSP was constantly ramming his face into said brick wall over and over again.
Does Phil just not get that you can't block when moving, attacking or jumping? Because he seems to claim he can't "block" the opponents attacks when he's either in the process or already being combo'd, or having his own attacks interrupted.

Day 1 Deathstroke WAS annoying as fuck. Well, at least until we all learned that his flippy sword move is super unsafe. He's free if you're patient. I think the issue with Deathstroke was the jump arc being too shallow. His ground bullets shouldn't be able to hit you mid jump and he even has an air shot and an up shot. Luckily, most Deathstroke players were terrible and chain throwing them with Grundy never got old.

DSP has tried the aerial battering ram with Green Lantern against Deathstroke already. The grenade launcher negates it, but requires one bar of meter. He could have kept using the move until his opponent ran out of meter. Why switch strategies to using bullets? Also, why do weak single grabs? Using a meter grab knocks the enemy into the air for a combo. Phil lacks the skill to fight pretty anyone, much less a spamming Deathstroke. It is not Deathstroke's fault or Green Lantern's. It is Phil's fault!
I will say that dsp is actually right here. deathstroke is very op due to the fact anyone can easily play him. his shots counting as a normal hit truly breaks him. make his gun do a fourth of the damage of a hit. dsp almost beating the guy proves that any scrub can play deathstroke.

ok i know the players are legitimately trolling DSP in this vid...but do all Deathstroke players actually play like that? i haven't played injustice because i really didn't find it appealing but...that's just ridiculous.

in his defense, although he is pretty ass, this game was prob the biggest piece of shit i have ever played fighting game wise. It was a little too casual for me and never really got into it
Yeah Deathstroke really isn't that great, he's like Mid-tier. If people want to bitch about zoning characters then they should play a good Zod or Martain Manhunter; Deathstroke is "spammable", but equally punishable, but of course scrubs like Phil don't bother to learn how to fight against him and instead say he's broken and the he insults the person playing him (yes online lag can be a problem sometimes, but Phil uses it as a constant excuse.)
I still find it funny how he got several nerfs (very early on in the game's life too) yet he remained a scrub-killer for so long because the people bitching for him to be nerfed were never the same people who would actually look up stuff like patch notes in order to know that he was nerfed, so you still had idiots bitching at the character select screen when you picked him.
