Back in the 60's we hauled horses on a 0ne ton flat bed truck with sides and a very steep ramp (no sides on the ramp). Didn't know what a horse trailer was back then.
The Dodge looks great. We used to haul a feeder calf or 2 in the back of a 73 ford 250 or a full load of feeder swine regularly to stockyards in Omaha NE. The next one the 80 ford was to say the least LACKING in payload capacity. It'll work like a dream, there is always a wash out or road ditch to load and unload in.
Great video just like seeing you riding and moving cattle. Those dogs really do a nice job getting the cattle out of the thick brush . You guys did a nice job on the truck getting it fixed up awesome 👍

This was very interesting. Do you camp overnight? I have no idea where you are rounding them up vs where you live. I tried to start at the beginning but this was a suggestion , so I’m watching it. Do you not have to worry about cars on the road? How interesting finding the pottery. I know what I would do. I’d say the heck with the cows and find things like this. I love that. Where do you get your horses from? Thank you for the video.
Thanks for showing the Badger work and the artifacts. I assume you will use a ramp to load the horses in the truck? We had mules that would jump up in the back of our truck
We hauled two horses in the back of a truck for most of my youth. Those horses would just jump right in and jump back out when we needed them as long as we turned them around at the same time. No ramps needed.
I love hearing the horse's clippity-clop on the pavement.
