Dunno if you know, but in Silver Eyes, Afton went by the alias of “Dave” so when Vanessa picked up the phone and was speaking to “Dave” I had a miniature freakout over how perfect it felt
Fun fact! In Security Breach there's actually a character called Dave mentioned in one of the notes. It's called "Hi Dave" and it says how Dave sucks and should be fired.

Well yes but actually no.
There's too much proof (in matpat's FNAF R theories, and in FNAF SB when GlamFreddy is really not being stubtle about it-) that Vanny is some kind of alter ego or something. It's another person sharing Vanessa's mind and body, it's either the Afton virus who created it, or she always had it and Afton is abusing of it.

Funny fact: this is lore accurate.
Edit: because in the fire escape ending Freddy starts a fire, pushes vanny from the rooftop, gregory unmask vanny and sees that behind that mask was Vanessa, and in the post credits scene we see a scared Vanessa in her pizzaplex uniform looking down from the rooftop and everything is on fire around her.
Maybe like in the silver eyes books maybe Vanessa was the robot version of Vanny? Or maybe it's the alter ego thing.

It echoes this inside joke I have with my family where when anything happens to a character onscreen I'll wave my hand dismissively and whisper, "They're fine." I find it hilarious and I think my family does too

Too bad Vanessa was the main character in Help Wanted and she was the one that got possesed by Glitchtrap. Completing Princess Quests saves Vanessa from Glitchtrap influence no longer getting her possesed and making her Vanny from time to time.

Thare should be a dlc ware you play as Vanessa and try to get through your shift but some weird things occur and reality stops making sense and in the end it is revealed that wean Vanessa is controlled by glitch trap she thinks she's just doing her normal shift but she's in this lucid dream state where her physical body is in control. This is my head Canon/dlc idea.

Fun fact: Vanessa was possesed by Glitchtrap making her Vanny whenever Glitchtrap took possesion of her. She fights it sometimes. CD's prove nothing because they all can be of just Vanessa's therapy. Vanessa was buying/making Vanny suit. She's Reluctant follower. Her job is to revive Afton again. Someone was stealing data about Vanessa but i bet it was Glitchtrap to make believable Vanessa when he posseses her. Completing Princess Quests saves Vanessa from Glitchtrap influence. Vanessa on the roof might as well be Vanessa's spirit showing that after killing Vanny she's just another soul that gonna wander next pizzeria or whatever. There might be recording of her talking to someone in bunny like costume but i heard its glitched recording so i bet its actually Glitchtrap.
@@gulox8241 I think there’s definitely two different people in those therapy tapes tho. When different therapists show up, some introduce themselves twice in different tapes. And some of them point out details about one patient that don’t match Vanessa. Like one of them say that the patient doesn’t fit in the chair, and most of the therapists talk to that patient differently too, like how you’d talk to a kid.
@@redgiant7747 Then how people got this theory that Vanessa has twin from those CD's ? Twins are lookalikes same everything. If so then twin theory is busted by you. She wasnt talking like at all presumerably because it was Glitchtrap in Vanessa body. One patients didnt like stuff that second one liked which doesnt prove anything. It still can be one person but with 2 minds (Vanessa and Glitchtrap[Vanny]).And isnt like therapists tactic to talk like that to their patients to open them up if they're not talkative ?
@@gulox8241 Vanessa being possessed in some of the tapes doesn’t explain her suddenly not being able to fit in the chair, or meeting new therapists twice. In one instance she says “I don’t know you, what happened to…” referring to her old therapist. Then in the next tape with the non talking patient the therapist opens with “you don’t look surprised to see me here” which doesn’t make any sense if it’s the same person. She’s also only greeted as Vanessa in the ones where she talks, which is weird even if she’s possessed in some sessions cuz the therapist would have no way of knowing that. It’s not a huge jump to say someone else is also possessed by glitchtrap as well, especially since it’s kind of a plot in the books.

The "other" patient that couldnt fit in the chair didnt sit correctly i dont know how she sits but it isnt normally like she should. Like i said before Vanny gives 0 fooks who she talks to so "you dont look surprised to see me here" doesnt prove anything here either. Person with dissociative identity disorder sometimes doesnt remember or know what other side did sooooo. Then why the "other" patient isnt greeted by her name too. Its like like we/they know her already.
