DENR Region IV-A regional executive director Atty. Marie Paz Luna discusses the efforts to conserve the endemic freshwater sardines. In Brgy. Alas-as, Anthony Taberna meets Leonora Aquino, who shares how she provides for her family as a Taal Volcano tour guide and as a fisherwoman. Finally, tourism officer Lanie Pili talks about the other attractions in San Nicolas, Batangas, while Mayor Willian Enriquez enumerates the other sources of livelihood in her municipality aside from fishing.
