Very entertaining, Chris! I like the way you're able to recreate the excitement of the race in the last few kms by just using still shots. Well done, as usual!

NBC’s goal is to retain viewers so they can sell them to their customers, who are advertisers in the brainwashing business. That’s one of the reasons they now call themselves “Peacock”. Chris’ goal is to educate you about bike racing while sharing his excitement. Their goals are at cross purposes. Chris is at the service of viewers. NBC is at the service of brainwashers.

@YelCan described it perfectly. I wish to bring a completely different level of education and understanding of the race to everyone that watches cycling that you don’t find anywhere else. I want you all to be able to talk about the race after watching it and say this rider got dropped because they did this or that in the race. Everyone saw a rider win or lose but why is what I am bring to you on T🦋E in detail. Plus some story telling which just goes deeper even still. NBC never permitted the time for such detail while live on air. So I started my own channel. 😂🦋👊🦚

    • @ChrisHornerCycling

@guitawrizt is correct also. In that NBC employees often didn’t see what I saw happening in the race. Or even close it. But I am not going to change my views of the race for TV and say something is happening that I don’t believe happened. Ever. 🦚🤪🦋👊

He doesn't need to attack, all he needs just follow Mas/Landa/Carapaz. One more day, Bora doesn't need to spend energy to ride in the front, is a good day at work IMO.

Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen were great to follow as the races crossed Europe. Part of what they did was play-by-play, part commentating with light analysis, and part a tour guide, telling the listeners about the views the riders were passing. Miss that.

He can't say Sepp Kuss. Instead it's "Sepp Kooos." He can't say Visma Lease-a-Bike, only "Veesma" or "Veesma Squad." Actually, every team there is a "squad." Even the "UAE squad," even though TEAM is part of the official name of UAE TEAM EMIRATES, Bob Roll never calls them that.

Ok, everyone knows I am not happy with Peacock, but it’s still true, and they said it. What they said was wrong and inaccurate, and this channel is a coaching channel also, it’s fair game to call peacock out.
