Anyway, they do make workbooks for younger kids to go with this curriculum, It is called a lapbook.

Just wondering why you switched from Science Shepard. I can't figure out my science for a science loving soon to be 6th grader.
Hi!! My 6th grade son is still using Science Shepherd and loving it 😊. He will probably be done around September/October of this year, and then I’ll have to make some decisions about what he will do next.
My girls have not used SS yet. They will be going INTO 6th grade next year, and although I love SS, we are primarily using My Father’s World as our “spine”, and this is what came with it. So I’m going to give it a try, especially since I can so easily do it with my kinder, too. It will probably help me get a feel for it and decide whether I want to keep my son on SS or pick up with BB. He is liking the online lessons though, so we’ll see. I’ll worry about that in a couple of months 🤣
Honestly they are both great options!! Take a look at the Science Shepherd course recommendations/progression and see what you think; they have GREAT customer service if you have any questions. That’s going to be a more video-based option, whereas BB is just textbook, so that might play a role in the decision!
