I loved watching Hoz in the royals. Was super excited to see him in SD but was sadly disappointed soon after. Best of luck Hoz in your new endeavors.

Profar is so chill and having fun. If Ruiz put his hands on anyone else, he probably would have his face stamped with his mask. Shame on MLB for not ejecting him or Gore. Profar just kept his cool after Ruiz was poking at him. Looking forward to their next meeting.

Players can say they are going to play, but they are also not going to get paid. The team will put them on the restricted list. I believe that players should be getting paid, but if the player has an unrealistic expectation that is on them and their agency. Blake Snell was looking for a long contract which many teams were unwilling to do. Unless he is winning a CY award he is just not good. Also he doesn't pitch very long in the game. He has flaws in his game. Boras and Co were being unrealistic and teams weren't willing to sign him. Now the teams that signed Boras' pitchers shouldn't expect them to be full strength and ready to go at the beginning of the season. But the reason these players are pitching so poorly is because they were unrealistic with their contract expectation and spent little to no time in spring training.
Not saying that Profar was wrong or right but are we really surprised that Hoz would side with someone on the Padres?
