Today you are going to meet Max and Alex from @malex.world . Their vanbuild is one of the most beautiful piece of art you will see in a van. And they have many cool and functional features like the slide out bed as well as slide out storage and bike rack.
The van is 100 % offgrid with solar power, diesel heater, hot water, indoor shower and huge amount of kitchen space.

We've used this ruclips.net/user/postUgkxwY_GQlMmFUAMhEN7rwfizj6Pi1RPnF_8 travel bed for our toddler multiple times while traveling, since she just moved out of the crib and wasn't comfortable with her in bed yet. She has slept great in it every time!

Yes! A build who recognizes the front of the van as the "living room" - so many builds disregard the front area as liveable space. I mean the two front seats are kind of like 2 recliners. They will be the most comfortable seats in the house. Beautiful build!

This is a message to young people, do not listen to older people telling you to buy a house you have to have a job to be happy. I am watching this and crying literal tears of joy for them and sorrow me and people just me who waited too long and are too sick to do this in their lifetime now.
My brother lived more by the age of 28 when he died then I have at the age of 50. I started to travel in my thirties but I got sick in my forties and it's been very challenging since.
I’m 65 and disabled I want to get rid of most of my bills and live on the road . Working to pay HOA is killing me . I want freedom

disagree, it's too heavy. You can hear is creaking away every time they move. Wood is extremely heavy, and to use the much of it is in excess of the limits of that van. I would bet the tires are over there limit as well. Not mention those sliders for the bed and the storage under them will surely fail, you can hear them failing as he pulls them out (I have had to replace 100's of them the past) and they don't have any support poles to assist the sliders when they do pull them out to take the weight off them.

It is important to access the hardware under the bed and so to be able to slide this stuff is ideal but maybe as you say not for a 'roll in the hay' so to speak. BUT this got views for the unique concept whether they actually sleep outside sans support poles, only do they know.
I hope my channel can be as good as your one day!!! What an inspiration.

Thanks for that perspective, I would like to hear from them after a year of use. I also would be inclined to have some support poles when extended.
What a cosy motorhome you have built! The wooden interior is also very well done. It's always exciting to see how the little space is used for storage.

I love everything except from the lack of head space on the bed. I think I'd need to be able to sit up straight at least.
What I love about the Van Build Center website, it that it's a online resource for building your own van. You can mix, match and decide what's best for your build. You have no idea how many YT channel I have searched to find this! Everyone seems to want to build you a van, but if you have the right resources, technical know-how, or know someone that does, you have the resources to do it Thank you SOOOOOOOO very much! Beautiful. Of all the things, the wood art trim around the windows was my favorite. I can just imagine having our coffee and looking out at the Rocky Mountains through that window. Thank you for the tour of your inspirational home.
This is not a van, this is a piece of artwork! I agree with the lady below who says it should win a prize. Also the best build out I have ever seen. Makes me proud of my German heritage, we Germans can build quite well.

this is one of the best van builds i've seen. It is simple but looks very classy and most importantly, it is functional. I like that they have a shower, most builds i've seen with a vehicule around the size they have don't have one, they're the proof it is possible! I would love to be in this fan in a rainy or snowy day. Honestly, this looks like the van of my dreams
WOW!!!!! The slider features have left me speechless. The interior woodwork already had me in love but those sliders are something else!! Incredible space and super inspirational.

This is by far one of my favorite van builds I have seen.
I have seen a lot of people on their van builds sacrifice a shower/toilet area and that would be a must have for me in my van especially when you are living in a van full time.
I arguably don’t think that anything was sacrificed in this van. However I know some people would say a seating area was sacrificed. However to me you can sit on the bed and the two swivel sits turn around in this van
I really love the kitchen as well. The only thing I would have added is maybe a little more storage. There is a little more room to do so I think and I wouldn’t have the counters sticking out so far and taking up that walking space.
This would definitely be my ideal layout in a van I build for full time use and living.

If you're sleeping outside, make mesh tent that covers the bed so you're protected a bit from bugs :)

Seems cool but it's a gimmick. I doubt it will get used much. Who wants to sleep out in the open? I guess if it was super warm, super quiet, no bugs and no people, but good luck finding that scenario.

Wonderful design of shifting bed outside the van to enjoy the sky and environment. I would make 5 sides cubic mosquito net extended from end of van with magic tape around door opening. Its' GREAT! .
No one but me will care about this, but the calm, soothing background music that plays during this video is a welcome relief from some of the BOOM BOOM BOOM racket that is on so many of the other van tour videos.

It has the feel of a sailboat with all that wood....love all the windows. I would have a collapsible basin 4 washing dishes ..don't like spitting in the kitchen sink. The decor is stunning though.
Use a jam jar next to the sink as a Spitoon☺
it was one off our main targets to feel connected to the nature and surrounding, that's why we installed all those windows and YES it's been one of the best decisions! Ready to Sail the roads around the globe ;)
