that whole shift from the insanely talented early 2000s ball with KG Shaq Kobe Dirk Timmy D Manu Tony Paul Pierce Ray Allen C Webb T Mac and Yao and many more to the bron era in the early 2010s to the completely out of the blue curry era (when i started watching and becoming a fan), those harden rockets, KD and Russ's cursed playoff runs, kobes final game that 2014 perfect spurs team the big 3 celtics 2019 Kawhi 2018 Lebron 2017 KD warriors (Snake lol) its all just insanely hard to get over. The beautiful game is dying at the moment and i hope to see it pick back up and its still a great league with awesome parity which is what i assume we all wanted after the 2010s but it just isnt the same and maybe its for the better but the 2010s for sure was an unforgettable era
@@just.lateef also each team's game was unique to itself and made each one way more entertaining. spurs summer time, kobe, celtics still got kg, heat, young okc, linsanity and melo and my fav the grit and grind zbo and tony allen was coming from nowhere. miss those days
I agree. Kind of lost interest near the end of the 2000’s after I stopped playing and got older. The 2010s were definitely what got me back into loving basketball again. Dirk’s final hurrah, Miami’s Heatles showing us things we’d never seen before, the 2014 Spurs showing us that old dogs playing picture perfect team basketball can beat the best players in the league with fundamentals. Up to that moment, that 2014 Finals was the most perfect basketball I’d ever seen. After that we got the rise of the new generation with the Splash brothers at Golden State and the young core in Oklahoma. We got to see all three of them win MVP, along with Curry winning it twice. 2016 is arguably the greatest season in NBA history.
d wade and lebron arr my favorite alongside klay amd curry back in 2010s. Miami Lebron was literally flying. Non stop highlight reels with d wade insane passing and lebron's hard dunks
Mentioned (2011-2019) But not mentioning 2010 to start the new decade when Kobe won his fifth ring to beat the superteam Boston Celtics .Not mentioning Derrick Rose In his MVP run in 2011. The youngest MVP EVER in NBA history… Also 2012 was the year of flopping How about the clippers? As known as LOB city. CP3, DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin.. the most entertaining team to watch. The battle of the splash Brothers Steph vs Klay in a 3-point contest back to back years? (2015-2016) And not mentioning 2016 slam dunk contest the greatest dunk contest of All-time Zach Lavine vs Aaron Gordon.
league is oversaturated asf rn, theres so much talent that it has a counterintuitive impact and leads to less appreciation - too much of something devalues it. also curry/warriors three point revolution changed the league perhaps for the worse. it was fun when they did it, but now every team is chucking up 40 threes a night because its the most efficient form of basketball. sadly its also the least entertaining. nba needs a fix, bc theres load management issues, stars not putting in as much effort as they used to, the all star game is a joke, rivalries arent as heated as they used to be and rivalries are what draw attention, and ofc the constant threes.
I also have the ‘80s > ‘90s too, the ‘90s was a weak era. Only 2 superstars had a ring ie. Hakeem and Jordan. Expansion made the game watered down as well.
It was a great era but keep in mind we look more fondly on things when we were young children. Nostalgia basically. Again, not saying that any of the reasons you gave about 2010s nba are wrong, but that’s another big factor
I definitely think 2010s nba was insanely entertaining but I don't think that we can count 2020s out yet, especially because of the talent we have in luka, shai, wemby, chet and all Also keep in mind there's 5 more draft classes remaining so we gonna see lot more young talent coming I think by the end of the 2020s we'll feel the same way as we do about the 10s, me personally I'm also a big fan of the 2000s honestly mostly because of kobe, he the 2010s goat fr
When it was happening yall hated it and said superteams ruined the era. You prayed for days where the league had parity and fairness. Now that it’s over you cry about missing it and say the league is boring. The truth is, fans love superteams and at the very least live having a villain or something to root against. This is the most fair the league has been in a while and it’s still Not enough. NBA fans are the worst.
We are Nostalgia warriors and that’s ok! Still a lot of great ball being played today just gotta know where to find it without the media telling you that it’s all trash
Everything was great not just the Nba, now everything just sucks it all seems idk washed, bland, robotic, lifeless I truly believe it’s because of Covid Because the Nba was still awesome until the very second the league shut down
You're right bro. 2010s NBA is just different. Now that the league is boring, I don't even care who's winning or losing. All I cared to see was Prime Bron, now hitting father time. NBA is now boring.
@@CharitoAbi-Abihot take: the league is good when they retire, the young players are like that, they look like they care (for the most part). But the NBA has failed to market them. The problem is players like Embiid, Ben Simmons and Podcast P aka Paul George and that’s just 1 of Many issues.
im glad i was alive for this
fr the best era
2011 to 2019 is just pure nostalgia
The way I stay great full for things is knowing we’re living the good old days night now. 2010s music was also peak.Ima sub
Harden did not get "a little bit better" after leaving okc, bro became the scariest offensive threat ever! Great video!!
only said a little bit because i feel like 2011 and 2012 harden wasn’t that different, he just finally had a role where he was the number 1 option

Bro Derrick Rose in 2011 and 12 was the reason I got in to watching basketball regularly. Man to this day I wish he didn't get injured
Its only felt magical because not many players where as good as today
Lowkey a good point wth
great point

The only good 2020s finals was warriors and Celtics cuz it was kinda a flashback of the late tens seeing them boys take the trophy again
Curry should've had the 2015 FMVP
He was literally robbed to this day
Narratives are always more important in sports. Glorified drama TV
Nah, should have been Lebron
@@edii3920 like doesn't the final MVP carry a team to a win cuz uhmm I'm pretty sure Legoat didn't do that
