I totally agree with you that travelling alone and getting out of your comfort zone will not only make you a better person, but it will help develop many life skills that will make you all that successful in life. I learned to appreciate the multitude of people and cultures around the world and that has helped me become successful in my career because I understand that each person brings new ideas and personalities that we can tap in to bring the best outcomes to any situation. It definitely develops your cultural intelligence but also brings you points of reflection about your own being. I still travel once a quarter to help me mentally regenerate. There is so much of the world to explore. Love seeing your journeys and the lives you've touched with your VLOGS. May your curiosity and travel enthusiasm never wain. I love this. I noticed you on Instagram many months ago, and found you to be so charming and intriguing. This video explains why: because you're a traveller, yes, but your adventures are happening within you too. The changes in your soul are deep and wonderful, as you realise so much about life. It is true that people can do that without the external adventure, but it is harder because so many of us experience very similar things day-to-day, even in a job like I've done where variety happens quite often. So I'm very happy and inspired by your words and your spirit. It will stay within you forever if you keep hold of these things, so don't let go, always be this boy with this spirit of adventure, even if you end up settling down in one place. Hello Joyx. You're of course still really young and I'm sure you'll see better times soon! You should definitely take it easy and start by staying in hostels and not traveling too far from where you are. Try saving some money before you go on your trip and even considet doing some sort of volunteering experience where you'd be able to stay for free and have the traveling experience too. I can only speak from my experience but for me it was the journey that helped me understand myself and my role in the world better. Hope it does for you too! And I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🤟

I agree travelling is so much fun and worth doing. I've been traveling pretty much my entire life solo/with friends. You learn so much about yourself and other cultures which actually can help you in the future in certain ways. When I travelled to Canada I ended up loving it there and did 6 months working out there and learning the Canadian lifestyle never regretted any of it. There was scary moments for sure but with every bad experience it taught me a lot so I don't actually mind it. I'm considering doing an alternative living lifestyle like maybe sailing or travel in a motorhome in the future since I've already done most places I've wanted to do. Hope the rest of your trip goes well in Thailand!
That's an incredible journey! Glad you got to experience so much and I completly agree with your point of view about the bad moments (you learn so much from them). Your Canada experience sounds so interesting. Definetly a furfilling challenge to get immersed in another culture / lifestyle! Your future plans seem incredible too. Fonsi I appreciate your honesty and transparency. I’ve never done solo travel(yet) but I’ve always gone solo exploring whenever I would travel with friends. There’s something to be said about being by yourself though. It allows you the freedom for deeper understanding of where you are and who you are. One question for you, are you journaling those moments when you are alone?
Thank you! It's definetely been a ride and yes I agree with you! Being by yourself allows you to be more introspective and to get to know yourself and your role in the world better. I don't journal on a daily basis but I do take notes and record some videos for myself whenever something meaningful happens during my trips. It's a good way to remember that moment and what it meant for sure!

I finished my college studies years ago actually 💪👨🎓 graduated from Marketing 🙌 I love both backpacking and staying in unique accommodations that are more pricey. I now have the chance to stay in great hotels and more high-end places but I'm all about adventures and apart from little treats here and there I still stay in hostels, enjoy street food and travel by night buses / ferries

Ola i am going to do this again . i stayed to long home ( yes lockdowns incl) I am even selling my Laro car to buy a simple van with matrass . just to get easy away ( on a budget ) on my own . i tried to find (or them) a partner who liked this . none :) that's a sign to leave the usual I will travel again . mostly the EU as there is so much to explore . spain germany the baltics sicily ( best food on planet ) Britain Ireland all ... soon on my way thx mate .
Good luck on your journey Rene 🙌 the best thing about traveling solo is that you don't have to wait for anyone, you can have your own journey and you're going to have a great one ahead, definitely!! These places are amazing 👏
It's so cool when you meet locals and they have all the insights on where to go and what places are authentic. I'd say is about starting conversations with them asking for advice or just introducing yourself in social gatherings. The connections happen naturally and can lead in some cases to a great friendship 🙌
I don't keep count. I prefer to stay for a looong time in every country anyways haha but I've traveled all around Europe (Still have some countries to check), and to different places in the South East Asia, North America, Central America and the Middle East 🙌
I would say: Take it easy and give yourself time. One big mistake I did when I was starting is to try to check as many destinations from my bucketlist as I could, but the great thing about traveling alone is to really connect with the destinations you travel to (meet locals, enjoy every sunset, every meal...). I'd start by going to locations that you feel confortable in. It's already a big step to get out there on your own and you don't need to go too adventurous at the beginning. Get used to traveling by yourself in a safe city full of sights and with many other solo travelers, stay in a hostel (this is the best way to meet other travelers) and enjoy! Once you get used to it you can go more ambitious with the destinations and challenge yourself more 🙌 hope this helps!! :) have a great day!
I'm currently very focused on the travel vlogging and I'm blessed I'm currently being able to make a living of sharing my experiences in here and my other platforms. I'm also a Marketing graduate 🎓 and I've worked as a creative digital advertising / marketing freelance (this was the kind of job that allowed me to travel and work at the same time in the beginning of my journey). I currently have many different projects of all sorts (managing social media accounts for brands, helping with branding of small bussinesses and personal brands...) that I combine with the vlogging part. This is what works for me, but it's all about using your skills and going as remote as you can so that you don't have to be in location to do your job 🙌

I finished my college studies years ago actually 💪👨🎓 graduated from Marketing 🙌 I love both backpacking and staying in unique accommodations that are more pricey. I now have the chance to stay in great hotels and more high-end places but I'm all about adventures and apart from little treats here and there I still stay in hostels, enjoy street food and travel by night buses / ferries

Ola i am going to do this again . i stayed to long home ( yes lockdowns incl) I am even selling my Laro car to buy a simple van with matrass . just to get easy away ( on a budget ) on my own . i tried to find (or them) a partner who liked this . none :) that's a sign to leave the usual I will travel again . mostly the EU as there is so much to explore . spain germany the baltics sicily ( best food on planet ) Britain Ireland all ... soon on my way thx mate .

It's so cool when you meet locals and they have all the insights on where to go and what places are authentic. I'd say is about starting conversations with them asking for advice or just introducing yourself in social gatherings. The connections happen naturally and can lead in some cases to a great friendship 🙌

I don't keep count. I prefer to stay for a looong time in every country anyways haha but I've traveled all around Europe (Still have some countries to check), and to different places in the South East Asia, North America, Central America and the Middle East 🙌
What advice would you give to those people who start this great journey of traveling alone?
I would say: Take it easy and give yourself time. One big mistake I did when I was starting is to try to check as many destinations from my bucketlist as I could, but the great thing about traveling alone is to really connect with the destinations you travel to (meet locals, enjoy every sunset, every meal...). I'd start by going to locations that you feel confortable in. It's already a big step to get out there on your own and you don't need to go too adventurous at the beginning. Get used to traveling by yourself in a safe city full of sights and with many other solo travelers, stay in a hostel (this is the best way to meet other travelers) and enjoy! Once you get used to it you can go more ambitious with the destinations and challenge yourself more 🙌 hope this helps!! :) have a great day!

What do you do for living fonsi.
I'm currently very focused on the travel vlogging and I'm blessed I'm currently being able to make a living of sharing my experiences in here and my other platforms. I'm also a Marketing graduate 🎓 and I've worked as a creative digital advertising / marketing freelance (this was the kind of job that allowed me to travel and work at the same time in the beginning of my journey). I currently have many different projects of all sorts (managing social media accounts for brands, helping with branding of small bussinesses and personal brands...) that I combine with the vlogging part. This is what works for me, but it's all about using your skills and going as remote as you can so that you don't have to be in location to do your job 🙌
