EXTREME Hike with UNREAL Views at the Top

We hiked the Mt. Adam's Fire Tower Trail just outside of Newcomb, NY (near Tahawus) and it had a little bit of everything. Bridges, detours, abandoned cabins, AND bouldering! This trail kicked our butts but the view from the top of the fire tower was WORTH it!!

That looked very scary 😮. Did you see many people coming down as you were going up? How do you know you are on the right path? Some of It looked impassable to me! Yikes!!!

It was tricky! The trail is pretty well traveled so we could see lots of footprints. And there were markers every so often.

I'd say that the trail is not safe.

It was one of the harder ones we've ever done. Lots of scrambling up rocks. As sketchy as it seemed, it's a really well traveled one. We passed a lot of people on it. I did find myself wondering what would happen if one of us twisted an ankle (or worse).
