- Tourist Sauce heads to "The Granddaddy of Irish Links," Ballybunion GC in County Kerry, where the guys try to keep it together while battling hurricane-force winds. Special thanks to Jacob Sjöman for the incredible drone footage, since all aircrafts were clearly grounded during our visit.

The year was 1985, I was 15 years of age. I had the pleasure of playing 54 holes in one day, 18 on the Old Course and 36 on the New Course. It was without doubt the greatest day on a golf course I have ever had - just love Ballybunion.
Big shoutout to Neil today. I've long been an advocate of the long johns and basketball shorts under rain pants. Only way to play in cold temps.
This is my favorite tourist sauce! I gained a love of golf during a company trip to Ireland. Played a links course named Dingle in 40 mph wind and rain and never laughed so much in my life. Returned from the trip and have focused on embracing the game with every round.
I love the town of Dingle, so every year when I take my golf trip to Ireland I play Dingle Links (Ceann Sibeal), but never in that kind of wind. You got the bonus plan! Very under rated course.
Randy would make a great undertaker/funeral home director. He has the droll, stoic demeanor, and the spiritual reading skills from the book of yardage to send any golfer to their peaceful resting place.

I played BallyB once in 35 mph winds and can attest to the fact that it is incredibly hard yet in a weird way "as it's supposed to be". Great episode and I commend you all for the full contact golf played that day...

I didn't know the long johns under rain pants was kind of a secret. That's what I've always done. The fleece lined running tight type things from nike and lululemon are amazing for the cold temps.

it's cool you guys met up with Jason Garrett and let him show you around Ireland. Who knew he would have time to walk the whole thing and write a book about it? i wouldn't have had Jason as a reader, let alone a writer, but I stand corrected.
Solly's 170y 3wood reminds me of my round at Cabot last fall. The 100 yard Par 3 16th pulling a 5 iron off the tee and barely covering the cliffs.
