She too is a great artist like your daughter and draws using the iPad. She had a drawing tablet like you got for years before hand, they are great!

Mostly because I don't want to encourage her to be on her phone more than necessary and I know that's exactly what would happen. I do hear it's a great way to get exposure though so we will see what happens.

As someone that's also into art and planning, I can imagine if I were receiving gifts like these at 15 I would be over the moon. I just recently upgraded to a screen tablet this past Christmas, a gift from my fiancé, but the tablet I used prior to that was the Huion h420. It's a signature tablet that I got from someone who had used it for work to get signatures digitally, and I made it work for a few years. The one you got her is something like I was planning to upgrade to eventually, until this past Christmas surprise lol. Anyway I think it's great that you like to promote her interests and I hope she loves her gifts as much as my 15 year old self would have. 😊
Tip for digital art not sure what program she uses but layers use the layer feature and it will make your art look like what Disney artists and other artists are producing and if she does choose to get a career as an artist knowing her way around a digital program and tablet will help a lot. I don't do digital art but I used to color things in photoshop and the layers made it a lot more fun because the outlines didn't go away and get smudged. There are tons of tutorials and videos from animation but beware some of these people curse, it's sad but true. Art ala carte is family friendly and has a digital art 101 series.
I love the outlines of her pencil drawings so I think it's a great idea to leave them in digital art, too! Thanks for the channel suggestion. We have run into issues with cursing before so it will be nice to have a channel we can trust. :)

Aww your daughter is growing up so fast I remember my first video of yours was what you were getting her for her 12th birthday (I happen to be the same age as her)
My kids don't care if I open their gifts to show the camera, a viewer complained that I "opened" their gifts. Plus, I don't think anyone would want to see my palette since it's used and half the colors are missing so that's why I showed the new one.
Instagram is for adults they do not filter out content that is inappropriate for young eyes or people who do not want to see that type of content. If you or your daughter use it be careful!
