Hi folks! Here is my newest restoration project. This is another beautiful Flea Market find, and I'm so happy about how it turned out. I hope you will like it too! Thank you for watching and for your support! Johnny
I love this restoration, the colour is gorgeous and you only detailed to remove essential imperfections. It looks terrific and I would have it in my house! Love your videos.🤗🇦🇺
I really liked this !! I love the color and the brass and gold !! It looks AMAZING !! I also like the natural wood it all goes together very well and it works wonderful !!
Beautiful restoration job you did on the Austro-Hungarian coffee grinder. It looks much better (almost like new) and it works like a charm too. Excellent work I must say.
Mrs Olson Must have thrown this out in her potting shed when she discovered Folgers, and it sat there quietly rusting all these years 😅 [ Reference to a character in an old Folgers Coffee commercial of the 70's , 80's ]
I must say you did a really nice job on the restoration,I especially liked the color you picked and the trim color, That laser tool is awesome!! if I may make one criticism, I didnt like the inside of the drawer, fine coffee grinds can get into those spaces between the sides and bottom and will eventually cause the wood to rot,Perhaps make a tin liner? but all in all it's awesome and I subscribed to your chanel!
@rustyshadesrestoration Possibly a stupid question but compared to sandblasting, has the surface the same Level of cleanness? Sandblasting seems cleaner to me or is it just the different surface appearance?
Not a stupid question at all. The sandblasting can be cleaner because the residue doesn't stay on the surface; it is blasted away, while the laser doesn't work the same.
Big deal. I could do that. ... Well, except for the laser, the sandblasting, the metal repair, the powder coating, the blueing, the woodwork, the filing, the remembering where all the parts go, and the lettering. The incredible amount of know-how, I almost forgot. Oh, and the cat flyby. 🥴 Seriously, Johnny, you do beautiful things when you start from nothing at all!!! 🎉🙏🙌
. Zastanawia mnie dlaczego nie naprawiłeś pękniętego mocowania koła zębatego i mocno zużytego wałka? Pominąłeś także wstawienie tulejki do korby.

Suggestion: next time you have to hammer on a threaded part put the nut back on and you won't damage the threads

I love that color.
I also liked that you used bamboo for the tray and base, I've always liked how that looked.
Thank you! Cheers!

Beautiful restoration job you did on the Austro-Hungarian coffee grinder. It looks much better (almost like new) and it works like a charm too. Excellent work I must say.

Quedo hermoso. Me encantó el color que elegiste. Saludos desde Valdivia al sur de Chile 🇨🇱

That laser cleaner is bad ass!
It looks great and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!!!!
I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
i'd love to see that in a museum!!
No it needs to be used to make coffee!!!
That is stunning! Something I would use in my house! Our electric grinder doesn't work this good.
Very good job
Thank you! 🙂
Ah ha ha!! Now I see what the mystery piece was! 🤔😃
Laser is my 💯 favorite rust remover. Next is electrolysis. 😊
Beautiful restoration 👍👍 You did a great work 😄😄

Bravo bro :)
Merci
I would love a list of tools that use regularly with this type of work.
Extra points for the cat. Have you tried dragging the magnet through the vibrating polisher while it’s running? Keep up the excellent videos thanks. 👊

That burgundy is the right color for that coffee grinder! BTW what's the real time for removing the rust using that laser?
Cheers!
For this item, it took me about 20- 30 minutes
Stunning! I’d like to place an order for 1 pound of fresh ground coffee please? ♥️♥️♥️
🥰
Great restoration, question tho, can't u laser the rust away from smaller parts?
Thank you! I can, but I prefer the sandblaster. The smaller the parts, the hotter they get while using the laser.
Can you imagine showing someone in the 1920s the laser cleaner XD
They will make you president
don't skip the laser cleaning so fast! it is fun to watch
Oki 🙂
Stunning, from start to end! Do you sell any of these pieces???
No, sorry, I try to keep them, and in one day, maybe I'll organise a charity auction.
Very nice job! What was the white coating you used for the interior of the coffee grinder?
Thank you and Cheers from Oregon!
That was enamel 🙂
👍👍❣

Awesome job! :) Please give me the name and type of your laser. I want it! :)
Nice! It is a BLC-2000w. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Amazing restoration however the bamboo box you made truly damaged the look
I don’t think it was terrible…but a walnut box would look sooo much better!
When you do one, you can make it from any kind of material that you want.
👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏🥃🥃🥃

Them cracks need brazing.... just my thoughts....

Any day you get to use a powerful laser is a good day.
Amazing job, cappuccino please 👍😀
Immediately! 😁
