  • This is the video that was made when Gerry Cottle (Circus) bought 4 major rides from T. Smith and Sons (Leighton Buzzard) way back in 1992.
The rides include: Dodgems, Ark, Skid and Octopus.
Also the ride transport was also sold.

The Dodgems are now in Sri Lanka.
The Ark(A163) is now owned by Tom Mayhew.
The Skid(S80) and Octopus(OC52) are owned by the Carter Family

Tommy green is my great uncle through my grandad.
I have worked on the gaff since I was five everytime the fair rolled into town. I have been alover on the road from the age of 15. I have to say I love it. It's a brilliant life.
Just too bad I was not born into the showmans guild of great Britain.

I believe some of these rides were eventually sold on to Carters from Gerry Cottle.
