Well evidently I’m a minority viewer on this channel. I loved this! Thank you for putting this together, Chris. I love getting out there but I’m also a map geek and it’s great to see how different people organize and keep track of their adventures. Much appreciated for the excellent fan service. Hopefully the couple of us who keep requesting this didn’t get you into too much trouble with the….others. Back to the regularly scheduled programming?
I miss seeing what this jeep can really do out there and the remote places that you have been to. But I will keep checking in every Saturday because I do enjoy your channel!! I will just go back and watch the older videos V3-V10
Love that pan you did of the Gaia gps tracks! Seeing them all on the map, even though it wasn’t all the places you’ve been, really gives some of the scope of your travels! Like the Johnny Cash song, you’ve literally been everywhere!
Chris if you have contact with GAIA I’d definitely be interested in the hold up of their Apple Car Play development plan. Recently I tried GAIA on android auto and it’s far superior to Apple Car Play. Disappointed that the apple car play version is so buggy and almost useless
How are you viewing the Gaia .gpx tracks on your mini when off-line? My main complaint using the phone or computer for viewing .gpx files is that I need to constantly download maps of many areas for offline viewing of the tracks. I guess there's no way to download the entire country base maps?
On iOS and Android, you can theoretically download the maps for the entire US, but that would probably require hundreds of GB if not more, so I download a smaller area, like the state of CO. As long as your device has a GPS chip, Gaia continues to behave as if it was connected even when out of cell range, allowing you to track your position, create tracks, etc... It is a bit of a pain to have to remember to download maps ahead of time, but since they take up so much space I'm not sure there's any other way until we get devices that can hold TB of data...
@@roger80303 Yes, that's what I do as well. Just annoying to always have to DL maps when traveling on a 3 web 4000 mile trip. That's why as much as I don't like my Garmin I still use it.
I’m a big fan of this channel and have been so for years. Just my honest feedback, I think just the title of this episode, by itself, is going to cause a lot of potential viewers to skip this episode. I’ll give it a watch and hope it will exceed my expectations. Edit. I just watched the video. It is not a very interesting video IMO, though I know some will enjoy it.
IT is NOT Christ Schontz. It's a network of scammers that have been trying to dig money out of people using a fake identity. Neither Chris, nor any other youtuber will try to contact you that way. If they try to get you to call a phone number, it is a scam.
Very useful information. This is handy to know for when we hit the road! Thanks Chris
Y’all gotta chill in these comments, let the man live
Even for the tech savvy folks here Chris. This was helpful. Thnx!
Thanks for the tutorial. I definitely found this informative and am looking forward to exploring some of the places that you have been.

It was very disappointing to see the rush through Canada and north Michigan, the visit years ago was awesome and I had high hopes for this one.
the trip thru Canada was the best. episodic travel with no fixed destinations. trips now are more out and back from yhe van. not as epic..
Thank you! So much good information! Always had to stumble my way thru this. This video will save me so much time and frustration.
Thanks Chris for this video, this was extremely helpful.

Thanks for the info! Happy trails!
Awesome, thanks!
Thanks great info!
That was helpful. Thanks for sharing.
What are your favorite maps/layers to use with Gaia?
Have you done much exploration in North Carolina/Tennessee?
Very useful. Thanks!
Very helpful video.
Amusing: Hearing the low hum of (what I believe to be) your refrigerator's compressor in the background made me thing I was hearing my own.
Love the videos!
Great video
No Adventure again today???
Thank you excellent
