Subbed immediately, anytime I think about Jurgen Teller now all I think about is that challenge that was happening online where the photo prompt was something like can your face card handle a Jurgen Teller shoot 😂 cause let’s be honest your face card has to be double platinum in order to not look like sh*t 😭 that man really said let me photograph people in the most unflattering ways. While I respect his creative vision, I’m not a big fan of his style.

I know Juergen personally and he's evolved over the years I have known him, using pretty basic equipment. Mainly shooting in a Contax G2, similar to Terry (Richardson) I used to send them both models when I worked in Paris/NYC.

Jurgens work reminds me so much of Terrys work which is why I think it always inadvertently rubs me the wrong way, Terry was a nasty piece of work.

I felt like this video was very engaging for me personally. I enjoyed the vibe, felt like I was tagging along during the photoshoot. I believe that you were able to recreate the ideas that inspired Juergen while somewhat making them yours. I really enjoyed the last photo which I think is strange since it was really about the jewelry and hands. Looking forward to more of your work.

I never heard of Jurgen Teller before, so I looked up his. In all honesty, they look like snapshots; similar to Terry Richardson's approach.
Give me the classics, like Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, and Patrick DeMarchlier, any day. They were all skilled and talented. Anyone can shoot in Teller's style because the fashion is what's unique about the photos; not the photography.

I Subscribed. Great video. I never understood Jurgen Teller. Every photographer now seem to do the very same., pictures that look like very very cheap photographs.. now they take pictures very quickly and move on. It is a pity. I mean portrait pictures. They in a way paint with the straight flash.
