- BEARizona !!! This place was so cool and the kids loved it! In this video you can follow us through the park and see what we saw... but its nothing compared to the real thing. As we go through I will also tell you a few things we found out and good things to know before you go to make sure you have the best experience.

Awesome!!! I just went to Bearizona and I thought it was really amazing. I got to see a wolf chase a raven, it even tried to take a bite out of my camper, and a black bear charged at my vehicle. The grizzly bears and bobcats were really cool and the black bear cub was so adorable. But the one animal that really amazed me was the black jaguar. It was really awesome. Amazing video. 👍👍👍👍👍
That’s awesome!! Sounds like you had an eventful trip. Haha. The wolf’s were very interested in our truck and wouldn’t leave it a lone. Made us sit for a bit, which was cool because we got to see them longer.
@@FortKnoxCo Yeah it was. I think the wolves were interested in my vehicle and my camper because my dogs are always marking there territory and I think the wolves could smell my dogs scent.
My son and daughter-in-law took me there last Saturday, had a ball!!! Great place to spend a few hours. The bears were so cute.
I agree! This place is awesome. Anytime we drive through northern AZ we try to drive through.

We had a really fun time and will definitely be going back again.
My wife and I were there a few years ago and loved it. The funny thing that happen was the car in front of us get their back bumper torn off by the wolves, and there is no retrieving it. So be careful and don't stop for the animals if they surround your car.
Oh wow. Thats pretty intense. Yeah you gotta keep rolling when in the bear or wolf areas for sure

Thanks for sharing about the Bearizona park zoo. It is on our must-see list as we live in the region and we enjoy seeing Williams and Grand Canyon etc. We have enjoyed similar parks throughout the country.

Great video! I have lived in AZ my entire life and have never gotten out here, but I'm going this weekend.
Haha yeah. The outside zoo area was cool but smaller. The drive thru was the best part. If you can go during the slower hours or days you can really take your time and stop n watch the animals.
@@FortKnoxCo I had planned on going Saturday before I watched your video but if I can make it work I will take your advice and go on either Friday, or Monday.

It should be beautiful out there in May. We’ve been a bunch in the winter months, have t been in the spring or summer.
We drove by this zoo a couple times and wondered what this was like.. but I have teens that just weren't interested. We went to Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course instead. I will keep this place in mind for another time. Thanks for sharing.
You should definitely give it a try. It was worth the money for sure.

I live right by Bearizona in Williams. I love that place! The best time to go is around feeding time. And you can go around as many times as you want.

I was happen to pass by flagstaff on my around the country trip, I saw the sign bearizona but didn’t know it was a drive thru zoo like the one we went to in rapid city SD, turns out they both own by the same family, only paid 18 dollars per person how much was bearizona? Thank you for sharing the park!
I think the tickets range from $20-35 depending on how many people you have. But its well worth it. We will probably go at least once a year with the kids.

Is the other lane in the drive thru area for oncoming traffic or could vehicles behind you use it to go around you?
Both kinda. For the most part everyone stays behind each other and you move along together. But the park workers will drive by in the other lane sometimes. So it’s there to use if needed.

Yeah we drove through on our trip to do the polar express. Stopped and grabbed coffee at one of the small coffee shops on the Main Street.

Is this place open during New Year’s day? I am looking to take my family on a vacation.
I’m not 100% sure on New Year’s Day but their website says Open Daily, 7 days a week. I’d give them a call and ask to even just check the day your there. The last time we went we just showed up and bought our tickets at the gate and had no problem

I’m assuming your talking about the couple areas where they say not to specifically? Lol. Because most of the park they allowed you to have your windows down. Bears and wolfs were a window up situation.

You can go to their website and purchase or you can buy them at the gate when you get there

I think they do offer a veterans discount but not 100% sure. Might be worth calling them and finding out. I wanna say they do though. We’ve been twice now and loved both times.

Are you asking what time of the year? We’ve been if the early winter and late winter. Both were great time. We went early in the morning during the week and it wasn’t crowded.

Also may be worth mentioning there's a military discount on admission. Unfortunately not on drinks though.

@@hankschannel4582 Haha, yeah I'm sure the drinks aren't cheap. We didn't indulge when we went so I wasn't too up on the pricing of those. Its nice they have the military discount. Tourist Trap...
I wouldn’t describe it like that. We always have a good time when we go. We really just enjoying driving with the kids and seeing the animals up close. We don’t spend too much time inside the park or the shops there. Not there to drink or buy food. Just pay to see the animals on the drive and scenery and leave. I feel it’s always been worth it from that aspect.
