Google probably doesn't mind ad blockers, given that they are available on the crome webstore. They know only a small percentage of tech savy people use them, and they were never going to click on the ads anyway. This kind of improves their clicks per ad ratio.

Yes it does. Not a single ad gets through. Brilliant for streaming music cos no annoying interruptions in the middle of your favourite tunes.

As a person who actually used opera before I can confirm it is the second best browser. Behind tor, because it’s privacy measures are much higher, you need a fingerprint to unlock the browser. But, if you want a quick browser opera is the best option
