I notice a number of country guys tune down a half step? Is it because the guitar is a bit easier on the fingers or just to sing in a more preferred key?
You probably wouldn't be able to find one but from just watching i think he's going fro the 5th fret to the 7th fret with his middle, ring and pinky fingers on the first 3 strings, with his index finger going from the 4th fret to the 6th fret. the last two strings are open and then its the d chord at the end. It's hard to explain on here 90% sure thats what he's doing
At 1 point he had written 6 out the top 10 songs in country music
No idea he wrote this. Love it and him and FL GA Line. Can't wait to see you next Wednesday night Downtown Nashville! :-)
Going back to this... again!
.... this is what a number-one song sounds like...
My favorite singer
Hes like Ed Sheeran, no auto tune just his regular voice :)
Best song
So talented
You have a really good voice
Remember his dad? That ain't my truck was a great song.
One of my favorites!
200x better than anything Florida Georgia Line will ever put out.
Amen
Jack Lodini umm....
Ummm, that's a bit harsh, FGL is an all around phenomenal country band, they may not have written this one, but those dudes are talented as shit!!!

So cute
Wish I could soo do this I would sing my ass off live him and fgl
He sung this on jingle fest
hell yeah
What chords are these?
Jesse Sutphin G A and D. He's in Drop D tuning.
drop Dflat
Sort of. He tuned to Drop D. Those are the chord shapes. He then tuned the whole guitar down a half-step. Not quite the same as Drop Db.
The chords of course are then transposed -1/2. Well they are the same, but it may be confusing to people so I refer to it differently.

What are the other chords he uses other than D?
G and A but they're inversions to make it sound like it does it's pretty cool!

i figured it was in drop d from the way it sounds..do you know that variation of G and A like the tabbed out version?
