I am a devout Christian and I am terrifyed to suffer eternal damnation. If you are damned to hell, a place we cannot even comprehend as humans, are there for ETERNITY. If you've ever felt lonely in this world, you were never alone as God is still with you....but in hell, you are cutoff from God....that is terrifying. No recompense. No break. No second chances. Nothing but pain and suffering. I have gotten mad at people before and said thing I've shouldn't....but I have NEVER wished anybody I know would be damned to Hell. That is a fate worse than anything conceivable. I have had night terrors about being condemed to hell that have jolted me awake and caused me to pray for hours. It is such a scary thought. God bless you all, and I wish you all turn to his light so fewer will suffer the fate of Hell.
I agree. Eternity is a hard and terrifying concept to even begin to try to wrap your head around. It scares me.. and makes me sad for anyone who goes there. Especially for people who truly think they’re right for denying God. Not even necessarily “bad” people. Just regular people who choose to not believe in anything. Maybe they do really good things with their lives, help others, etc. but still may end up here for not knowing God.

Hearing those quotes from Psalms about restoring their souls from Sheol makes me think that “hell/sheol” are symbolic manifestations of depression. Especially in regards to God’s love or grace. For those of us who have experienced (or still experiencing) depression, it is very much existing in a sort of inescapable hell. Often it is the love of others, an external love, that brings us out of that hell.

It's 'the valley of Ben-Hinnom" or the "valley of the sons of Hinnom". In Jesus' day, it was a garbage dump outside the city walls of Jerusalem. Fires were kept burning there and brimstone (Sulphur) was added to keep down the smell. It had no connection to any sort of "afterlife", something the Jews did not believe in. They believed in death and resurrection. Look closely at Jesus words and description. He says both the body and soul (the person's life as a breathing, living being) are killed and destroyed. It does not say anything about being tortured. The fire is eternal, not the people thrown there. If someone were to be thrown into Gehenna, it would have meant they were unfit for a decent burial, a "memorial tomb". Unworthy of a resurrection at the appointed time. The Bible does not teach any afterlife or burning torment of dead people. Death pays for sin and there is only the promised resurrection to come.

Every religion and culture has its own point of view on the afterlife especially Hell. Take for example in the ancient Mayan culture, Xibalba. Xibalba itself was a place for the souls who were damned and faced eternal punishment.

Hey, I don't usually reply to comments, but it breaks my heart to see you say that God thinks you're an abomination. God created you with His own hands, giving you life from His own breath. God doesn't hate you. What text says is that God views it as an abomination for man to lie with man as with a woman; or God hates the act of sex between same sex. This isn't because God doesn't want you to be happy. You're not an abomination because you are attracted to men. It's the act, and it's not so differently viewed as people having sex out of marriage. God has a specific purpose for marriage and sex; that is, to be fruitful and multiply. God wants us to spread all across the earth. Those were among His first commands to Adam and Eve. The only reason sex out of wedlock isn't viewed as abominably (if that's a word) is because whole God views that as sinful, it's still causing multiplicity. Some biblical figures were created that way. With same sex, no children are made, so there is no multiply. God does NOT hate you. God love you. He hates the act that, from God's perspective, goes against his purpose. There is a big difference.

I have had a similar talk with many people. And I have to respectfully say the bible is clear. However I appreciate that modern folk are able to not push their religious standards on others as much as they used to. And yeah, I know adulators and liars are listed in some of the same scriptures as homosexuals. Leviticus 18:22, 20:13 (This one even states we are to be killed), Romans 1:27(Another one that refers to killing us), 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, And yes there are others, and even many will use the same scriptures that talk about male and female becoming one, in marriage, and god only made male and female. Another thing I contradict, but let us not forget, Revelations 21:8. Which is what makes me curious about the unique place for people with the same sexuality as me. Now the argument I get from most about this is, just don't act on those desires, and god is okay with it, um no Mathew 5:28, is clear, even to think of it, is to act on it. I appreciate you defending your faith, but Elohim is not my creator, or the creator of any Native American. The contradiction of me with the whole male and female only thing, I was not born either, or you could argue I was born both. The act of sending any being into eternal torment is pure evil, I don't care how the God of the bible describes himself to be. I don't know how anyone in Heaven would be content knowing that some of their loved ones are anguishing in complete torment, that thought alone would eat at me nonstop. As a writer, an expert navigator of imagination and human on Earth, I can easily say that these narratives have changed tactically to ensure we are creating our own "hell". We are descendant from creators, no doubt. But nothing is set in stone unless we make the mark. Think for yourselves people. Quit letting something or someone else influence what you manifest. We can all create a better future by being active participants in our own worlds. "Punishment" rendered is just that: turning ourselves and opportunities here into lesser versions of what we are truly capable of. At some point we likely see what really happens and what could have been. Maybe that uncomfortable presence seems like "hell" to many. When I was 20 years old I got endocarditis and ended up dieing for 15 mins during open heart surgery I cant remember my life before I died but I can remember being in another realm for thousands of lifetimes most would call this place hell but I found out it was just one of endless realms in existence we go to these different realms to learn what we could not through our lives

Sheol is a place all people who die go. Waiting for ressurection or destruction when Jesus returns. No one is awake but sleeping with no thoughts or awareness.

In an astral projection, the demon king Asmodeus brought me to hell. What I saw there were souls of people hunched over trapped in their own mind and suffering. It was explained to me that they keep themselves there. Though shame. It is our own conscious that keeps the soul there. Every once in a while, a soul sits up and wakes up out of their suffering. These souls are ready to forgive themselves. An angel will come to pick them up and bring them to heaven. There, they will be taken care of and readied for their next journey in their development. I saw and partook in this process as the soul of a woman who killed her abusive husband had suffered the consequences of her actions. Tho somewhat understandable, she did murder another person. And that weight heavily on her. She cried in my arms until I was prompted by Lucifer to lift her up to heaven. Together with lucifer, we went and delivered her to the angels who took her from us in love and care. The demons dont do much with these souls. They watch over them but not much else. It is your own mind and your own conscious that makes you suffer. The lesson I got here was that in life, you should be very aware of your actions and how that may effect an other person. In death, you will remember it all! You will remember all the excuses you made to seem right and righteous in your choices, deeds, and words. Be very aware of your ego, and work towards authenticity. Be aware of your shadow side, the part of you that is less than nice because we are dualism, both good and bad. This is what it means to be alive. Learn to discern between both sides and recognise the grey in between. And above all recognise your free will! My recommendation is to walk the grey most of the time. Being on the darker side can be a necessary evil to survive in our society, but choose this consciously! Know why you must act in such ways. And be plain about it dont cover it up with excuses of benevolence. This is poison for your mind, and it makes you weak and manipulative and easy to manipulate (plenty of spirtits (and people) who will make use of that). It makes you a tool. Walk in the light the best you can. Society will make this hard, and it can even make you an outcast. But as you learn to know yourself and be authentic, you will find it within yourself to love and vibrate similar to Christ. -------- If you find it confusing, I allowed a Demon to take me to hell and teach me lessons. It is because I recognise the duality in our world/reality. Demons are relatively impartial about your choices they will help you in either direction if you ask. I ask knowledge and understanding so that I can help myself and others. I regard them similar as I do angels. My expectations are different as both beings have different moral compasses. But in the end, both sides are there doing god work. The difference is that angels will not help you indulge in egotistical things. A demon will, it is up to you to decide if you will. Your free will is the highest good and will be respected if you are without doubt on what you want and how you want it. Most demons will respect that. It shows you are wothy and whole. They will test and challenge your resolve, tho so, know yourself! Because they can read you like a trashy magazine and know more about you than you think. Show fear or be demanding or try to threaten them, you are fair game. Be calm and respectful (humble aboit yoursef by knowing your limitations), and they will teach you about yourself, the world, the universe, our reality, or certain skills even. Demons are quite hands-on in their teachings and will NOT accept a vitim mentality. So, no BS, "the demon made me do it." No, you made the choice with your own free will. Own up to it and learn. Amend your mistakes, and you can have a very interesting learning experience. But be wary, a demon will push your nose in your own piss and it will suck. It will be confronting and painful. Hell doesn't actually appear in the Bible, at least not the way most think. The Biblical account describes Hell as separation from God for the wicked, not a lake of fire with demons who torture you. In addition, the story of Satan being a fallen angel also does not actually appear in the Biblical contrary to common belief. Satan, instead, is an angel who works on God's behalf to test and trial humans. This is why Judaism has no such concepts of Hell or the Devil, because these are later concepts.
Take a look at some of the Near Death Experiences. I believe them. I've probably read a few hundred near death/out of body experiences because I'm also very interested in that topic and about 98% of them didn't go to hell. They all described a bright light and a feeling of peace and love and oneness with the universe etc. And almost all of them that went to "heaven" if you want to call it that were not christians, but they still got there. So whether there is a god or a "heaven" or "hell" it doesn't seem to be proof that it's actually the christian God and the christian heaven and hell because if that was the case why are so many non christians also going to that heaven?
My mother also had a near death experience guess what she saw.... I agree. Eternity is a hard and terrifying concept to even begin to try to wrap your head around. It scares me.. and makes me sad for anyone who goes there. Especially for people who truly think they’re right for denying God. Not even necessarily “bad” people. Just regular people who choose to not believe in anything. Hearing those quotes from Psalms about restoring their souls from Sheol makes me think that “hell/sheol” are symbolic manifestations of depression. Especially in regards to God’s love or grace. For those of us who have experienced (or still experiencing) depression, it is very much existing in a sort of inescapable hell. The Bible does not teach any afterlife or burning torment of dead people. Death pays for sin and there is only the promised resurrection to come.

Hey, I don't usually reply to comments, but it breaks my heart to see you say that God thinks you're an abomination. God created you with His own hands, giving you life from His own breath. God doesn't hate you. What text says is that God views it as an abomination for man to lie with man as with a woman; or God hates the act of sex between same sex. This isn't because God doesn't want you to be happy. You're not an abomination because you are attracted to men. It's the act, and it's not so differently viewed as people having sex out of marriage. God has a specific purpose for marriage and sex; that is, to be fruitful and multiply. God wants us to spread all across the earth. Those were among His first commands to Adam and Eve. The only reason sex out of wedlock isn't viewed as abominably (if that's a word) is because whole God views that as sinful, it's still causing multiplicity. Some biblical figures were created that way. With same sex, no children are made, so there is no multiply. God does NOT hate you. God love you. He hates the act that, from God's perspective, goes against his purpose. There is a big difference.

I have had a similar talk with many people. And I have to respectfully say the bible is clear. However I appreciate that modern folk are able to not push their religious standards on others as much as they used to. And yeah, I know adulators and liars are listed in some of the same scriptures as homosexuals. Leviticus 18:22, 20:13 (This one even states we are to be killed), Romans 1:27(Another one that refers to killing us), 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, And yes there are others, and even many will use the same scriptures that talk about male and female becoming one, in marriage, and god only made male and female. As a writer, an expert navigator of imagination and human on Earth, I can easily say that these narratives have changed tactically to ensure we are creating our own "hell". We are descendant from creators, no doubt. But nothing is set in stone unless we make the mark. Think for yourselves people. Quit letting something or someone else influence what you manifest. We can all create a better future by being active participants in our own worlds. "Punishment" rendered is just that: turning ourselves and opportunities here into lesser versions of what we are truly capable of. At some point we likely see what really happens and what could have been. Maybe that uncomfortable presence seems like "hell" to many. In an astral projection, the demon king Asmodeus brought me to hell.
What I saw there were souls of people hunched over trapped in their own mind and suffering.
It was explained to me that they keep themselves there. Though shame. It is our own conscious that keeps the soul there.
Every once in a while, a soul sits up and wakes up out of their suffering. These souls are ready to forgive themselves. An angel will come to pick them up and bring them to heaven.
There, they will be taken care of and readied for their next journey in their development.
I saw and partook in this process as the soul of a woman who killed her abusive husband had suffered the consequences of her actions. Tho somewhat understandable, she did murder another person. And that weight heavily on her. She cried in my arms until I was prompted by Lucifer to lift her up to heaven. Together with lucifer, we went and delivered her to the angels who took her from us in love and care.
The demons dont do much with these souls. They watch over them but not much else. It is your own mind and your own conscious that makes you suffer.
The lesson I got here was that in life, you should be very aware of your actions and how that may effect an other person. In death, you will remember it all! You will remember all the excuses you made to seem right and righteous in your choices, deeds, and words. Be very aware of your ego, and work towards authenticity. Be aware of your shadow side, the part of you that is less than nice because we are dualism, both good and bad. This is what it means to be alive. Learn to discern between both sides and recognise the grey in between. And above all recognise your free will!
My recommendation is to walk the grey most of the time. Being on the darker side can be a necessary evil to survive in our society, but choose this consciously! Know why you must act in such ways. And be plain about it dont cover it up with excuses of benevolence. This is poison for your mind, and it makes you weak and manipulative and easy to manipulate (plenty of spirtits (and people) who will make use of that). It makes you a tool.
Walk in the light the best you can. Society will make this hard, and it can even make you an outcast. But as you learn to know yourself and be authentic, you will find it within yourself to love and vibrate similar to Christ.

If you find it confusing, I allowed a Demon to take me to hell and teach me lessons. It is because I recognise the duality in our world/reality. Demons are relatively impartial about your choices they will help you in either direction if you ask. I ask knowledge and understanding so that I can help myself and others.
I regard them similar as I do angels. My expectations are different as both beings have different moral compasses. But in the end, both sides are there doing god work. The difference is that angels will not help you indulge in egotistical things. A demon will, it is up to you to decide if you will. Your free will is the highest good and will be respected if you are without doubt on what you want and how you want it. Most demons will respect that. It shows you are wothy and whole. They will test and challenge your resolve, tho so, know yourself! Because they can read you like a trashy magazine and know more about you than you think. Show fear or be demanding or try to threaten them, you are fair game.
Be calm and respectful (humble aboit yoursef by knowing your limitations), and they will teach you about yourself, the world, the universe, our reality, or certain skills even. Demons are quite hands-on in their teachings and will NOT accept a vitim mentality. So, no BS, "the demon made me do it." No, you made the choice with your own free will. Own up to it and learn. Amend your mistakes, and you can have a very interesting learning experience. But be wary, a demon will push your nose in your own piss and it will suck. It will be confronting and painful. But in the end, it was your own free choice. They will not say "no" to a bad idea. They may even encourage it, its up to you to discern if you should. And why it came up in the first place.

We are justified by the faith of Christ, His literal death, entombment and resurrection for the salvation of ALL Mankind. No work required on your part. I believe if Adam and Eve ate from the tree of life after eating from the tree of knowledge then they would have forever been in a sinful state as immortal beings. It was an act of mercy that God would allow death and restoration through Jesus Christ. We are mortal beings while demons and angels are immortal. I believe conditional immortality is the truth for humans. The punishment of rejecting God is everlasting not everlasting continual punishing. It is the loss of your soul and separation from God forever. Those who took the mark of the beast, the false prophet, Antichrist, the devil, and his demons will face their punishment for an eternity in the lake of fire because their souls can not be destroyed. Hell doesn't actually appear in the Bible, at least not the way most think.
The Biblical account describes Hell as separation from God for the wicked, not a lake of fire with demons who torture you. In addition, the story of Satan being a fallen angel also does not actually appear in the Biblical contrary to common belief. Satan, instead, is an angel who works on God's behalf to test and trial humans.
This is why Judaism has no such concepts of Hell or the Devil, because these are later concepts.

I've probably read a few hundred near death/out of body experiences because I'm also very interested in that topic and about 98% of them didn't go to hell. They all described a bright light and a feeling of peace and love and oneness with the universe etc.
And almost all of them that went to "heaven" if you want to call it that were not christians, but they still got there. So whether there is a god or a "heaven" or "hell" it doesn't seem to be proof that it's actually the christian God and the christian heaven and hell because if that was the case why are so many non christians also going to that heaven?
My mother also had a near death experience guess what she saw.... Nothing absolutely nothing it was just her falling asleep and waking up six days later in the hospital with no memory of what happened.

The original Greek text of the NT does not support eternal punishment. It supports age-lasting, corrective punishment used to restore the lost souls. Eternal punishment is based on bad translations and pagan doctrine. Also, demons would love nothing more than to cause pain to God's creatures. The idea of demons torturing people in hell is ridiculous. Why would God have demons torture souls when that is precisely what they would want to do? The demons' punishment for rebelling against God would be to do a task that would bring them joy?
