That Barber was a problem if it wasn’t taken care of. After that it becomes a game of sustaining one’s self since Dulcinea and the Priest generally are more of support, with Dulcinea generally being a problem with her unbreakable coins.

if the pequod trio had to fight the bloodfiends of la manchaland they would get so cooked due to dulcinea’s whole thing where she inflicts bleed when she gets hit
In defense of Pequod trio(cause I like them and bias) they also not at their full strenght, cause of being in a godamn whale. For who know how long but for sure long enough for Ishmeal to grow that monstrous of a hair.
this theme might be my favourite boss theme outside mili songs so far. the combination of the Barber theme's music style with static-ish sounds and fading in and out, Dulcinea's majestic parade vibe from her theme, and the chanting from the Priest that sounds like LAMENT at times combined to make such a damn cool background music for the fight.
(no idea why people are calling them new pequod trio, they're nowhere near as hard + no assist defence lmao. I first tried them, lost most of my squad but that's been the norm for this canto, and I was limiting my healing ego uses to "only when absolutely necessary")
idk if its literally a pequod trio reference or if PM just likes designing trio fights with a tank, dps and support specifically. either way, incredibly fun fight. i wish we had more time with the priest all told, but i get why that isnt the case.
I honestly kinda wish the bloodbags had assist defense or some kind of aggro with the carousels for That One Thing That Happens. maybe that kind of slog is best saved for the railway though,,

And also thoroughly beat up too. Imagine if they were all at full health, with barber having over 2k, priest probably at 4k, and dulcinea at 5k with 8 protection. Yikes
everyone would been long gone after the first barber fight, let alone against 3 of these fuckers, now imagine if dulcinea also brought her reinforcements like she did on the first fight with her
I actually teared up during this fight The way this sounds so triumphant, so much glory, yet this hint of desperation and melancholy Mixed in with the Priest’s plea and penitence And now this entire situation feels so childishly delightful but also dark and serious- It was a great fight, thank you, the Bloodfiends of La Manchaland
This music feels oddly Heroic for the Context of the situation. Especially the first section of the song. La Manchaland’s Last ‘Hurrah’ as it were, with the three head kindreds coming together after 200 years for one climactic Finale
One thing I love about this song is that it sounds like a celebration of Don Quixote. It's grand and imposing enough to be a boss theme, but cheery enough to sound like they are celebrating don.

Honestly the bf trio have stronger coins than the pequod, but the pequod has Ahab which actively strategies against you, something which the manchas just don't do. There's also the fact you have a team of 12 now

My canto vii dungeon stats has some Don ID at first place with some thousands since I solo'd with her in the final bossfight, last place is Pequod Heath with 196 taken and 28 dealt, that 28 was the killing blow on Dulcinea and the move that avenged my eleven dead sinners, the most important last place in history nevermind first
If i wasn't in a cramped space with too many fragiles at the time , i would have done backflips when my n-corp Heathcliff clutched up a win with 4 My form empties corrosions

Dulcinea can get so fast you cannot clash anything. Is she decides to focus a sinner that can't dodge they're gone. Bleed teams notably tend to have close to none. They also lack good SP control. So you can get caught off guard.
@@Nemer49994 If speed's an issue, you could try dante's skill to half their speed. I think I did that for that fight and I'm aware that she becomes fast again later on. But who knows, that skill might be a game changer.
