Hello, laserduck here from the workshop. Good to have a video now we just need everybody to see it haha. Waypoints are always related to your map center marker, (10,37000,10) would mean 10 NM east, 10NM north of your center marker at 37k feet. adding a minus (-) in front of the ranges will put it to west and south direction. If you can visualize the map in your head you can type paths freely into the .ini aswell with this knowledge ! Also i noticed aircraft carriers launch airstrikes automatically now as soon as they identify an enemy target. The devs are slowly getting there with the AI.
Yeah, in the scramble! showcase I did last week I was too lazy to plot the waypoints in the editor for a patrol of Tu-22 with long range missiles that would be too close to the target if I used the south waypoints I had set up. So I just changed the signs, as you said. If you are interested, you can find it here: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3371959080 Yeah, things are improving fast! One day I pointed out to the devs that audio voiceovers were not loading properly from a dedicated mod directory. The very next day they dropped the new beta that included that fix already! Incredible! On the other hand, I can imagine missions where you do want a carrier to flood a certain area with fighters, for example. Even if they still don't see all enemies in that region. So it is kind of an add-on thing programming your enemies like this. Besides it's fun :-) Also you can program your enemy to do an offensive, for example.
That was really helpful, thanks! Ah, I wish we had an in-game tool to customize the exact flight deck for airbases, all that mess with .ini files is a bit troublesome
My pleasure! I really think the devs will implement a lot more of these things in the editor pretty soon, so we won't need to edit the ini file manually so much.
I didn't remember that theme so I just looked it up. Maybe the bass and percussion could be considered somewhat similar in my view. But the "Irish violin" in Promentory makes it sound very, very different from the game soundtrack to my ears at least. But it's nice that you made me remember that Promentory theme!

Thank you Sir!!!!!
Most welcome!
What music are you using? I recognize the song from somewhere...
Hehe! 🤣It's just the original music from the game.
Well, for me it strongly reminds the "Promentory" theme from The Last of the Mohicans
