- Good Guys 38th All American Get-Together car show at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California. This show was massive and filled with classic cars, lowriders, custom cars, hot rods, and other collector cars. Towards the end I also show a bit of the car sale corral in the swap meet area. Just so much to see in so little time.

Really good video mr Mike, is the show car with the psychedelic paint scheme not a based Cheetah? Some astonishing cars here... We don't have this kind of display here in France. Thanx man.
Couldn't read the sign on that car. Can't imagine they get too many American rods over there.
@@MikeFrankovich Yep, but the proportions and the shape lead me to believe in this basis: big rear wheels, short wheel base, long nose and a reduce cockpit...But it could be a Vette too, if the paint is astonishing, sadly the interior isn't finished.

Mike, good variety at that show, & it's nice many vehicles were on grass--it gave it a comfortable look.
It's always nice when the cars are on grass and there's shade.

Thanks .but would to ask for a favor...Show us the Schwinn 1960s.bikes like cotton picker.lemon peeler. They resemble the easy Rider craze in those days .Springer front end .small tire. I had one .It got lost .in the 1970z . Thanks good job. Car fan.

Hello Mike..My name is Bob..First off i love your show ...so wish i could do what you do..I have a question for you sir..About you 1959 Ford..Back in 59 my dad bought one almost just like yours..We came for canada a long long time ago and i have had my small share of the 59 Fords..As i am sure you know my dads car was a Meteor .Just had a little bit more chrome on the rockets..and it was a six ..like yours..I would like to know if you are going to keep it..of in my case hope you might sell her...Or...i have been in auto restoration since 1972..i notice you have quite the collection of classics..Do you have a shop..if so maybe i could do a restoration on one of your cars.Would love to meet you and c everything you love to drive...or both cash and trade..thankyou for your time..Bob

The second 63-4 Rivi had an interesting metallic light burgundy/pink color, love the white Buick LaSabre wagon, rarely see them, the dark burgundy 65 was cool with the projector headlamps, but I couldn’t bring myself to cut up the beautiful grill…I like to stay true to originality…individual taste, then a clean gold 65-interesting how I messaged you earlier about Rivieras.

Ya it's a 3 day event just let me know what day is good with you. Not sure what Day they do it but they do a day for the photographers going in and let them do their thing with out crowds

As an Australian who used to fly to Pleasanton every two years for the Goodguys West Coast Nationals, this video is great Mike, really appreciated. Hope to get back over there one day.
I worked on alcatraz island for 24 years and I would talk to the hot rod guys from Australia checking out the prison on the way to Pleasanton thanks!

Great video quality. Upset I forgot to go this year. It's a shame how the show has changed over the years from mostly bad ass custom built V8 muscle cars to low riders and modern run of the mill stock cars with chinese bolt-ons. Thanks for the upload Mike!

Hey mike do you have any problems with your go pro batteries getting hot as I have a hero 10 and after 15 minutes it turns off cause battery is so hot, any idea’s
It overheated at the Palm Springs show I shot last year, but it was a hot day. Wound up filming part of that show on my phone until the GoPro cooled down. I'm a bit worried about it overheating as it gets warmer. I do carry extra batteries with me. GoPro makes a special battery for cold conditions, but not hot. Might have to buy a second camera to switch to when it gets hot.
@@MikeFrankovich I have the 10 and they are going to send me another one and send mine back, do you use a media hub or just the camera and do you shoot the whole hour or do it in clips then edit it
I just have the GoPro media kit. I shoot in short clips.
