- The Spring 2022 Toronto Vintage Clothing Show was this weekend and was their best one yet! It was so amazing to be around the vintage community and to do A LOT of shopping! I also got to meet so many of you which was so fun! you guys were showing me the items you were finding which I loved !
The show was crazy busy ! its like every person that likes vintage was there! I'm sorry if the vlog felt a bit "squished", it's because It was so crowded it was really hard to move around (or to stand still) to film something. I also couldn't do much talking because it was really loud with the music and people talking all around me. I tried my best to capture it in the video. However in person it was wonderful to feel the energy in the room
Of course I had to show you all of the amazing pieces I found so makes sure to check out the haul at the end f the video ! And if you didn't get a chance to go this season they already announced the dates for the Fall show on September 24th and 25th!

Oh my goodness, I would be in heaven amongst all those stunning pieces, there's something really special about vintage clothing and accessories, I feel as if they have so much personality and style.
I was on cloud 9 when shopping ! I couldn’t agree more, there are way more design elements and the clothes are much more flattering because they were made better back then

My favourites?
Easy! The 1920s flapper dress and the 1940s blue with coral trimming.
And the cat eye sun glasses look perfect on you ❤
Beautiful pieces the navy 1940s two piece is beautiful!! The needlepoint work on your bags is usually called Petit Pointe 💙

Really nice video, great place and wonderful finds. All the clothing looks great on you. Next you should do a video on vintage shoes and boots :) - sorry if you have one already, I have not seen it yet. I love your style. I wonder if there is a place like that in the USA, specifically in California. I am new to this, but I think it's my new style, I have started to adopt it. I am in my 50s and my kids are all grown. Now I can start to be fancy and focus on myself. At least try. Thank you for your video.😊🌹

My favourite of your finds was for sure that first 1920s one, stunning!!! 😱👏😍But that blue dress with the perfectly matching accessories is a true find, such a classic look!!!

The 1940s dress set...ahhh...! 😍 Do you remember how much it cost? Really helps with comparison shopping, though pieces like that one are rather priceless, of course!
Oh, and that lady was right: those sunglasses really suit you! On some people they can look costume-ish, but on you they somehow just integrate into your overall look. ☺️
The 1940s is a two piece set so it’s actually a skirt and a top ! I got it for $100 which seems expensive but compared to prices I’ve seen online I thought it was quite reasonable. It was the most expensive thing I got

Wearing gloves during the summer will also help protect your hands from getting sunburned (especially when driving) and prematurely aging them.
Even the best sun screen will not trump a physical barrier to UV rays. And for some reason, the hands seem to get more easily damaged by UV rays than anywhere else on the body.

@@CarePinglo If anything causes regular glove wearing to come back, it's probably going to be for sun protection (and age spot prevention) for the hands.
Love your videos just curious how do you clean all the items you thrift would love to know I thrift alot but am hesitant to buy alot of things cuz I don't know how to clean them
Thank you ! I always freeze anything I buy second hand for at least 1 week. Then I either hand wash or dry clean them, I spend way too much money on dry cleaning lol. Vintage hats are a bit tricky because most can't be washed. In that case I would freeze them for 2 weeks and spot clean inside and dust/brush the outside. Same with purses
Always had a love-hate relationship with scarves, such as the one at 13:40. Do you think it just takes time getting used to? You seem to rather enjoy it. :) Or, is it a thing one just gets/doesn't get right from the get-go?
I’m be never had an issue with scarves so I’m not sure haha I love wearing them
What where some of the prices there? You mentioned a $15 deal for the gloves, but what were the costs of the clothing and hats? TIA
The prices were very reasonable, most expensive was the blue matching set which was $100 but it’s from the 40s and in perfect condition (way cheaper than prices I’ve seen online) . Hats were around $15-20, handbag was $20, 1920s dress and light blue dress were $40.

Haha !! I truly have no idea! I imagine there are vintage shows like this scattered across the US , especially in New York. It’s worth looking into if somewhere close to you has a vintage show/fair
@@CarePinglo I want to!! I have googled this a bit and haven't found one legit fair where we can buy things, that happens at a regular time! I'm not near Cali so won't look there, but I can't seem to find something like this in the US! I'm gonna keep searching though because this is such a dream! :)
