  • Hello friends, this is another mindful practice that you can use every time you feel the need to refocus, destress, and help your mind to stay present in your body and in the present experience. Mindful practices are extremely beneficial to people who struggle with ADD, ADHD, mental stress, and the incapacity to focus on a topic for an extended period of time.
    AS A TEACHER I USE MINDFUL PRACTICES CONSISTENTLY THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR AND EVERY TIME I FEEL THAT STUDENTS NEED THEM.
    I invite you to do the same.
    For this practice, you'll need a small piece of mixed media paper and an extra fine sharpie, gel pen, or anything you would like to use.
    Remember, mindful practices focus on the creative process itself and not on the outcome, the technique, the media, or the elements you are using to create your piece.

    This is an older video, but it demonstrates how important it is to develop the ability to focus and stay in the moment, which for me, and for some others (I'm sure) is difficult. I'm getting better at it. Thank you.
