The YXZ has a Rekluse, Tubeworks 70/30 gear set, PCI headsets, 30" Mongrel 10 ply tires, Weller exhaust tune with Weller exhaust system for the major things...
Love the YXZ/Talon vids . I just the purchased a used YXZ liked yours with 8 hours on it and want to customize it. Could you relay what brand of windshield your old YXZ has?
Great videography. Which Sony camera are you running? Excellent stabilization like my Sony HDR. I usually really don't like music in videos but you blend it well so that it compliments the production- very professional. Nice drone work too. I love MOAB and will be back soon. Will have to visit during an event one of these days- won't like the crowds but would be fun to watch.
Thanks! I need to make a new video this spring!! On board the YXZ, I only use Sony's action cam X3000. Mainly because it delivers 100 plus megbit rate data with real glass. The wrist watch is nice because I can control several cameras. Soooooo much better than Heros!
Thanks for comments !! . I use the HDR-X3000 action cam on the YXZ because it's optical and does high bit rate. Plus, I can port stereo sound in and run the mic away from the wind.
Moving to Kanab Utah in the spring/summer of 2021. Purchased property there and having a house built. Have my eye on the new YXZ. some have told me that the YXZ isn’t really known for the rock climbing capabilities. They like the Razor and Mavericks. I like the YXZ myself. Looks like it handled pretty good on this video! Personally I think I would like the more open trails, it’s just an observation. Any thoughts?
The rides in Kanab and fast and fun so you can't go wrong with a YXZ. I much prefer the Manual Shit over the paddles on the YXZ. The YXZ is the funnest SXS the market, but I will admit I'm loving the Talon. My big hangup as a Yamaha owner is Yamaha really needs to get 6 speeds in that gear box, and about 5 more inches of travel.
Both YXZ's in this video have Tubeworks 70/30 gear ratio which from my understanding is now available from any Yamaha dealer. The yellow machine has a wide ratio 5th gear. Both machines have ReKluse clutches. Overall these are actually pretty minor changes to do by Yamaha, or you can order this in advance. My machine showed up at my door with all this on it from the dealer.

It powers my Dometic cooler down to -4 degrees in 100 degree temps, for kicks and charges my drone batteries during the ride.
