There’s a new legend to behold. In this webinar segment, John of the Garmin Marine team introduces the new Force® Kraken trolling motor - the most powerful trolling motor on the market (in compliance with ISO standard 13342). It lets boaters focus on fishing with precise Garmin anchor lock technology and wireless chartplotter integration.

Thanks so much for video. I need to see a video of a boat and how close it can stay to a buoy, post, etc with the dual frequencyGPS, while anchor lock
Hopefully one day garmin publish a kayak version trolling motor
@@MassReelFishing yeah, their fish finder are top notch among the competitors, and that’s why a sonar&gps integrated trolling motor for kayak will be cherry on the top for their production lineup 🙂
Hopefully they’ll come out with longer shafts for catamaran applications.
Great insight to the new trolling motor! I can't wait to see it released and in use. One huge question I have is the difference between the black and white ones. Considering the white ones don't have a transducer there is a pretty big price gap. I was told it's due to the paint but man - that's an expensive paint job!! I wonder if the build material is different too, and if that is the case I can see that commanding that big of a price difference.
How come the white version isn’t available with the transducer?
They add $200 to the white Kraken to make up for not including the transducer!
This means the white one is about $400 more than the black one.
How does the garmin 63” compare to terrova 60” in length? I know one says 63 and one says 60, but a lot goes in where and how these things are measured. Will I get 3” more depth vs the terrova? How much length must remain above the housing?
why no remote deploy and up and down? Patents tied it up?
Quick question. If you allready have a Garmin 122SV chartplotter with GT56 transducer at the back of the boat (obviously connected with a cable). How do you connect your 122sv to the GT56 transducer in the Garmin Force Kraken? I can't read anything on the site, but it seems to me you also need a cable? There's no cable in the accessories? Or is it wireless?
What length is the stabilizer and is it adjustable?
Just bought the 90, hope it holds a Contender 28T.
I've got a 28 as well, please do return when you get it installed and share the feedback!
@@Lucas-LeFever It's amazing, held in 6-8, 20-25mph wind. You won't be disappointed.
is it saltwater
Does the Kraken come with a foot pedal?
I bought a Kraken still in the box in garage. If foot pedal is optional I will take it back to Cabelas.
Which Quatix 7 controls this, the pro or solar, or both?
Give it a few more years, and Garmin is going to take Minn Kota to the cleaners.
