Considering the saga Era is a new electric only model line that went to market in late 2023, it is unlikely that you used to sell a gas one, years ago.
I own the AGA Mercury. They're exactly the same, just with different knobs and handles. I've been using it for three years without issue. I have read and seen videos from the UK that the induction hob does fail and is expensive to repair. If it fails for me, I'll replace it with a gas range so I can use other types of cookware besides ferritic steel based ones.
I've been dying for an Aga induction review! Thank you.
The Aga Era is the model I'm really interested in.
Likable...but smaller ovens
Any info on the all electric Aga Era? Be neat to see a video from you guys on it!
Ah...The Era. We sold it years ago when you had to pipe it. Better controls, even smaller ovens.
Would like to have seen you look at the Aga Era. That is the Aga induction range that interests me.
Used to sell it in gas years ago.....

How available are parts and service? Is the main question with appliances the way I see it nowadays.
Good question.....Middleby owns it so shpuld be decent. Will let you know.
Reliability and repair record?
Will let you know once we sell one.

👍🏼
Goah it looks like a rip off of Lacanche.
or vice versa
@@YaleAppliance1 Lacanche is over a 100 years old. They didn't have this model a 100 years ago. The look of Lacanche hasn't change since way back when
Fair point....
And a Lacanche is a budget La Cornue, which is owned by Aga, so why make a knock if of a knock off of one of your superior brands.
Need to be pushing gas product not electric. Still amazing to look at...just looks like a huge fire hazard to me.
Exactly opposite. Induction can't be turned on randomly. Needs metal to activate.
@@YaleAppliance1 big fan of induction as very efficient and safe for cooking absolutely agree with that.
