While I do love Best American Girl being explained properly, Mitski allows her songs to be interpreted as whatever. And besides tbh an interracial relationship wouldn't exactly be related to giyuu much (though tbf Giyuu being Mitski isn't exactly realistic and relatable for him either), plus I don't really understand how Shinobu somehow managed to obtain the meaning of the song just from only some of the lyrics that are only talking about the person being 'more' I guess. Anyway yeah the video was good!!
