Good job sir. If you have Mr Penner's ear can you ask him if you can choose where to tee the ball on tee box, a minor detail but has a effect on shot shape. Say you have a dog leg left, you would tee it up on the right of tee box to open up the dog leg, making it easier to hit a draw. Vice versa for dog leg right. Also if flag on a par 3 is to the right of the green, you would tee it up on left [easier fade] and vice versa.
Many thanks.
Excellent interview! I stumbled on your video, looking for any news about this game. Being an Alaska resident, my golf games are almost a survival tool for me during the long winters until I can get out on the course. EA should share this on their website & RUclips. Really, great job on this!
Thanks for the kind words and for subscribing from wayyyyyy up north!
Very good interview. I'm an experienced and avid golf gamer. I have huge concerns that the game is locked to 30fps on next gen console. EA needs to address that asap. It's bad enough that the game will launch with no dynamic weather.
I suppose users should have a choice between the best graphics or faster FPS. For a golf game I think the graphics would be more important than the 60 vs 30 FPS.
@@Howie47 yea I agree. The frustrating aspect is the game is on next gen consoles but capped at 30fps when we have been accustomed to 60fps with 2Ks PGA Tour games. It seems a step backwards
@@Early1981 2K is fantastic. But I think the graphics in the EA game are looking far superior. Especially the grass. Which is very important in golf and very graphically intensive.
@@Howie47 yea I agree but is the footage we have seen on a top end pc with 60gps or console at 30fps? I'm guessing pc.
@@Howie47 Thanks for the comment. I'll be sure to pass that along to the EA team when I'm with them next. Hope you'll subscribe to our channel!
They have certainly nailed the looks, it makes 2K23 look like Pacman for the Atari.
Man I’m so looking forward to this game
Thanks for the comment. I'll be sure to pass that along to the EA team when I'm with them next. Hope you'll subscribe to our channel!
I pre order the deluxe edition looking forward to it
Sike! Bought standard edition and with EA Play on PC 10hr free trial on the 21st. Winning!
Hate to burst that bubble but....If you buy delux version you get PGA tour and Madden 23. that was 75 quid. To upgrade [if you want] you have to cancel standard and order Delux.
@@garylee8596 I would pay extra to not get madden... I hate football
@@ravenwda007 lol so do I, at least the American version of it. Should be called handball or rugby, the ball is very similar.
@@garylee8596 well madden is on EA Play anyway so buying the deluxe is kinda pointless now eh,
@@ravenwda007 lol I stand corrected 😊
Looking forward to it,just one question why no vr
VR would be nice =)
@@pastuh A question I'll ask when I visit EA HQ in a couple weeks
@@MIGolfLive Ty for replying
Locking the console versions to 30fps is a huge disappointment. There needs to be a performance mode down the line where 60fps is possible to play on next gen consoles. It's a shame because I was going to preorder this game but I'll now wait to see if a 60fps option becomes available in an update and probably get the game cheaper too
Thanks for the comment. I'll be sure to pass that along to the EA team when I'm with them next. Hope you'll subscribe to our channel!
30 fps. Very disappointing for a next gen game. If you get the opportunity please ask if they are working on a performance mode for the future even if it’s not available on release.
I'm shocked that they didn't offer at least one performance option for this game. If something isn't done prior to launch to add in a 60 FPS performance option, even if it means dropping the res to 1080p to achieving that, I'll be buying the PC version where I can use the NVIDIA control panel to cut the res to 1080p to likely achieve it there.
hearing from people in the know, there is a lot more that goes into a game other than the framerate for how it looks and plays. 2k has always been an incomplete golf game to me. It does some things well but other things it misses badly. EA is day 1 purchase for me

@@MIGolfLive they need to add a European Collection of courses to the game as downloadable content later only one European Course at launch is not enough, I mean let's add the course that the Ryder Cup is being played at this year along with the classic Ryder Cup courses like The Belfry and The K Club, but also add the famous British Open courses
@@MIGolfLive We should have the other Pebble Beach courses added to the game like Spyglass Hill
@@Rvdecwthug Guessing it's a licensing issue and that future updates will bring more courses
@@MIGolfLive We use to have Spyglass Hill on earlier editions of this game, I am not sure if they have tried to get the other Europeon courses in past games. I want to say that we had Carnoustie in earlier games as well
