Attempted to set up CGM using your video from a few months back and got stock where my CGM status just says provisioning. Not sure what I may have missed. However, in that video, you mentioned using the enhanced HTTPS method. So while searching your channel I found ended up here. I am on version 2006. I am going to upgrade SCCM and see if I have better luck. Thanks for your videos

Yes - you need a subscription and appropriate permissions to create in that sub, as well as appropriate permissions in ConfigMgr. PAYG is fine, however.
Now that MS has forced us all to move the CMG from Cloud Services to a Virtual Machine Scale Set, where are the certificate instructions for it please? How to validate renewed cert in Azure portal?
Great explanation, if you could guide us how to login to the VM on azure portal which got created through CMG as a cloud distribution point , that would be great help
You're missing a lot of the pre req work here - this isn't an end to end logical step by step setup for the VMSS based CMG. Native and Web App registration steps are missing as are resource provider registration, Azure RBAC requirements. It's like a riddle of the real walkthrough so i personally don't find it useful. If any user is having pay as you go subcrition for Azure, will he be able to go ahead and spin up VMSS CMG?

RDP access to the CMG is not supported. It is possible to enable RDP (as it's, just a normal VM), but MS make this intentionally difficult to do.

Whilst it’s possible, it’s not supported to login to the VM for troubleshooting. What are you hoping to learn from logging in ?
