Nanchang CJ-6 Wheel Bearing Servicing How-To

How to service the wheel bearings (grease packing and felt changes) on the Nanchang CJ-6 main landing gear. Including Flipper’s trick for using ice packs to contract axel to release and reinstall the outboard bearings.

How do you guys do the overhaul? Is there a mechanic understands the engine? Are there parts for the engine?

There are a few shops that specialize in this engine and do overhauls, etc.
