In this Plant Spotlight episode, I talk about the Syngonium chiapense and its care requirements. This is a very hardy houseplant that is an unusual form of Syngonium as it doesn't have the regular arrowhead shaped leaves. #syngoniumchiapense
From what I understand, the macrophyllum's leaves are more pointy and more leaflets whereas the adult chiapense's leaves lobes are closer to each other. They look pretty similar especially when they are juvenile but are different species. I am looking for a maccrophyllum frosted heart too. Will update you on the differences when I get it.
@@mayac2266 I'm not sure if there is green form and frosted heart syngonium macrophyllum but it is different from Syngonium chiapense, which is more common and readily available.

Lol. I find her ranty style really adorable 🤭
Thinking of doing a trade would you say this plant is equivalent to a gigas for trade?
If you ask me 1 year ago, gigas would be at a much higher value, but you probably get a smaller specimen that is equivalent to a Syngonium chiapense.
Whats the difference between syngonium macrophyllum green form an this one

Hello, GWAP! This plant is not Kitty friendly 😅
Haha. Just keep it out of reach from Kitty! On a shelf perhaps 😄
